I like the ones that say that you're the "special visitor" and if you "just pay $19.95, you'll unlock the secret to financial freedom". Isn't that an oxymoron? Why would I pay someone, putting me further in debt, to free myself from financial burden? Makes no sense. But the sad thing is that people do pay for these, realized that they just got themselves a website that they have no idea how to operate, and call it a day.

The worst scam site I ever came across was advertising a program that adds money into the paypal/payza,payoneer, BTC account of the users. The software cost $ 120 and it could add at least $300 every day. If making money as was simple as that why do the website had he necessity to sell the software.

It's easier to keep away from sites that are obvious and blatant scams. I have been duped once by a PTC site, Probux. It was an out and out scam. The first time around, when I was nearing cash out, my name mysteriously disappeared on their list. I re-registered, thinking it was my IP address. I was accepted when I used another name. I worked my way to near cash out,and when it was almost time, the site could no longer be accessed. It was ever foolish of me to hope I'd reach cash out with them when everywhere on the site itself, members would put up ads that Probux is a scam site and will never pay. I read that they didn't pay their members and that Probux offered advertising slots in lieu of dollar payments. Those anti-ads were the members' way of getting back at Probux.

Generally my worst scam site has to be Probux. I had invested in almost 250 rented referrals only for them to go offline after establishing a reputation as the leading PTC site. There are many others that operate using this method of confidence trickery which evades even the most prudent due to positive reviews, prescence of a forum and good support as well as payment proofs. Over time I have developed an uncanny ability to detect scam sites by poring over their finer details and searching for their reviews in online earning forums and therefore I have evaded most of there pitfalls. Most of there sites have rambling sales pitches and success proofs going round in circles only to introduce a cost to what they are promoting in the end. There is always an army of online newbies who are waiting on the wings to fall for there sites only to learn from negative experiences. Survey sites are also another blackhole. Some quit on online earning altogether after being once bitten and twice shy.

I don't recall the name of the worst scam site that I encountered but it was a survey site. I filled a lengthy questionnaire that lasted for about an hour. I was flipping page after page. At the end, there was a prompt to click signalling that I was through with the survey only to get a blank page after submitting. Needless to say, I wasn't paid. To this day, I am wary of survey sites.

I have been lucky not to have been swindled big time. My first experience with scam sites was a result of happenstance when I joined Probux on the path to its deathbed when advertisers were reducing on their platforms. I have also had negative experiences with survey sites which I don't sign up to even today. I would consider a worst case scenario to a scam site that goes offline suddenly without warning signs.

Most of the people over here have a better idea of scam sites. They can be easily identified easily. If a site asking you for paid registration then it will be a scam site. If a site is promising to pay a lot of amount in term of paying for online work that is a scam. Once I had an invitation from a site that was offering $500/day. I could easily understand that it is a scam.
