UHAUL Agents training and flexibility question
« on: July 17, 2014, 02:53:51 PM »
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has heard back from Uhaul and can provide some further detail. I was wondering if anyone knows or has heard how long training is for? I was also wondering regarding scheduling for hours just how flexible the company can be? For example is there a minimum amount of hours for the week? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have not heard about this. Are they not a transport company? Are you talking about job openings with this company that one can do from home?

I worked for Uhaul about a year ago. I was with them for about 6 months. I quit because I had 2 jobs and couldn't balance both.

I believe the training was a week, but it is paid. When you fill out your application, you put your availability on there, and I'm pretty sure that if you get hired, they will try to work around your availability. However, they do want you to be available on weekends.

It's definitely legit. I worked during their peak season, and there was never a lack of work. As a matter of fact, there were plenty of extra hours available.

I googled the company and unfortunately, they only accept people from Northern America, so I'm not qualified. They do have specific PC requirements down to the anti-virus, lol. They seem to prefer AVG.

Can anyone give more detailed information about this company. What is the work? It seems work from home, secured from online sources is usually making phone calls. The weekend work really makes me think that is what this is about. That is the best time to reach most people.
