Best Humanatic Category
« on: July 30, 2014, 01:28:23 PM »
So I've been working with Humanatic for awhile now. I'm not sure whether or not I have unlocked all of the categories as there is no indication when you do, but I'm assuming at I haven't.

I've been looking around online and couldn't find an answer to my question, and I figured it was one that needed to be asked. In your opinion, which category do you think has the best pay per hour? Right now, with the categories I have, the best I can do is one or two dollars an hour, has anyone surpassed this? And if so, which categories do you generally use to do this?

Well, since I made this post I think I've finally found the best category. English vs Spanish. All you have to do is say whether or not the call is in English or not, which takes seconds. For each one you get 1.1 cents.

Over this weekend there was a notice for a category that they needed a lot of help with. This was paying 4.1c per call. That's the highest I've ever seen it. And the calls were pretty difficult to review. Some are a lot easier because you can skip around and find what you are looking for but for these you really had to listen to most of the call. Trying out some different categories now that are in the 3.1c per call range. Anyone ever seen higher per call rates?

The biggest CON with this site is that is extremely glitchy, it will log you out for no reason, break-room you to death, refresh your page for no reason, then there's the "grey bar of death" where the call comes up, but no call loads, which you have to refresh out of, which will then tell you have refreshed too quickly, then you have another interminable wait til you can get back to reviewing calls.
Not to mention the auditors, incorrectly auditing you and you have to defend and correct their choices.

The glitches are endless, but once you find your own rhythm, which is crucial, you can make humanatic work for you, provided you have about 3 or 4 other complementary things you can do at the same time, to make it worth your while.

I pretty much agree with this. The site is *very* glitchy and the timeouts are annoying. I wouldn't sit in front of it doing only that.

With regard to the auditing - you have to be VERY literal about your classifications. For instance, if the caller rings to discuss an appointment somebody at the destination has, this still gets filed as an appointment call even though the caller is not *making* an appointment. If somebody calls to ask about opening hours, this is a new appointment opportunity. With the call handled by - first name match is good enough.

Yes, but you have to careful with the "handled by" categories of which there are a few, because Humanatic wants to know who was handling it at the END of the call, so whilst "MIKE" may have handled it initially, he may have handed it off to someone else.

Also, the other thing which can trip people up is this. If the person who handles the call is named "Chris" or "Mike" or "Michael"(these tend to be common names) and he doesn't state his last name and there are several Mikes' or Chris' on the list of choices, you have to mark it "agent does not say his name".

And don't even get me started on what a "JUNK CALL" is, the rules on this seem to vary from day to day, much to my chagrin. >:(

I have not unlocked all the categories yet cause some require you to do more on a certain category and you should have a high rating which I think is 90 percent.
Not sure if what is the best category to earn but most of those with high pay are quite hard to categorize and that it require more time compared to others. There are also times that auditers/auditors are auditing it incorrectly or against the specifications.

Thank you for the heads up about humantic categories. As for the sight being "glitchy" I had thought the getting booted out and the refresh page issue was a result of something being up with my wifi, that said, I am glad to know others have had the same issue and it is the site not my wifi.

You will find that Humanatic is 90% glitch, 10% actual productivity.

I would say that the best categories are the ones which require very little information for you to mark them correctly, as more categories open up for you, you will ascertain which ones these are for you.

I so agree with you! I am not trying to complain but it take an awful lot of calls and time just to earn a dollar. I think the calls should be worth a bit more than what is being offered.

I'm getting pretty fed up with Humanatic. I've been using it a lot lately and I swear I keep getting penalized for "picking the wrong category" when I don't. There really isn't even a point to trying to fight with them on why you think you were right because they never review your request anyways.

My favorite category is the English vs. Spanish because it's the easiest one, and it's the only one that I have constantly been able to keep at 100% since I joined. Other than that I really like the Dealership Appointment Outcome ones since they're relatively easy and I usually get them all right, and I like both the inbound and outbound live conversation calls as well.
