bux.to - PTC scam site
« on: October 08, 2014, 04:35:42 AM »
When I start looking for ways to earn online, paid to click sites are the first earning sites I have learned to do. It is since these sites are very easy to use and simple as clicking the ads. But late to know that there are lots of scam PTC sites. One scam site I can remember is the bux.to.  I have been clicking ads on this site for months before I discovered it was just a scam as in not paying.

Thanks for the intel zararian, but when I see PTC I run away from it, even if it's not scam, they play very poorly.

I remember that site, I actually did get paid by them once, then never again.  I think they just paid some members as they felt so inclined.  Their support forum always had a huge sting of people who had been paid and an even bigger string of people who hadn't.

As a rule one should steer clear of anything with the "BUX" suffix, there must be 20,000 of them on the internet. Neobux may be one of the only legit ones, I believe I'm signed up with them but I can't be bothered to PTC, it's far too tedious for the return.

LOL, that is a clean rule, stay away from the bux word, I'll keep that tip in mind. :)

Nice that they did pay you once cause I never received a payout from them. I spent a lot of time and effort on their site hoping to reach my first payout only to find out it will never happen. :P

I think you need to see the payout and decide if it is a high amount, and if it is worth doing and does it seem it will even pay that amount to you or just there to lure you to join the website.
There are two good ones I joined  click and click bux the upgrade membership is only a couple of bux as well and the low payout is $0.10 cents or $0.25 cents which is easy  to get to as the owner has a lot of ads Once time I spent three hours on xlick still had many ads to click from.
These have worked well for me, and surf n cash is another one where it surfs pages for you and earn money at the same time, need to have a look at the payout on these ones and how long will it take to get paid.
If it sounds to good to be true, than stay away and read reviews of the website and see how good it is, and doe sit pay in a few days or instant and if the payout is a lot than need to be careful.

You are right. :)
Well, I would say that I learned those pointers the hard way. It is correct that in PTC, if it sounds too good to be true, most probably it is a scam.

All PTC sites are scams in my opinion. Even if they do pay, you're making literally pennies an hour. If that. You're better off walking down a busy street and picking coins up off the ground.

I'm inclined to agree that the majority of PTC/bux sites are garbage and offer little chance of making more than a few cents. The exceptions to this rule are Neobux and Clixsense. They do offer a lot of ads to click but they seem to be moving towards a GPT model now and carry Crowdflower tasks, offer walls and surveys, all of which provide the bulk of my earnings on these sites.

Thank you for the warning about Buxto.  Also, stay clear of Paidverts.  Yes, some have sing this ones praises for being well paying, but I sure didn't see myself going anywhere with it in the few weeks I was a member.  Maybe some have figured out the system, but I didn't.

The thing is these PTC's come and go all the time.  Two that seem to have stood the test of time ar Neobux and Clixsense.

Another site I want to add to the list is ojoo. They seem to have a really high paying rate, but I do see a lot of complaints about losing money come referral renting time, so I wouldn't invest in it. I actually started two days ago, clicked a few ads and already have 20 cents. Sounds like nothing, but for a PTC, 20c in the first 2 days is pretty insane

I'm so glad you said that! I tried to get into PTC sites through Ayuwage and Neobux, but I honestly got bored stiff just reading about how it works. I found even Humanatic is more interesting, and that's really saying something lol What I don't get is the stuff about buying and renting referrals!

I know these are reputable, paying sites, and a lot of people are happy with them; but I just couldn't get into them.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up, Zararian :)

I thought these were 'scams' or hard to reach pay out sites. I see all these referral links on a micro working sites where people are paying others  two cents to click on their referral link. I don't mind doing if another member, say on a forum but not for a complete stranger because I feel as if I'm been taken for a ride.
