I just read today that some users received information from Bubblews saying they won't pay? How can this be? What a nerve...

I heard about this too, and I'm not surprised. Bubblews screwed up a few months ago when they changed all of the rules. I'm assuming that they ran out of money or realized that people were making way too much money on their site from not doing too much work for it. They really did mess up though, and I'm angry. I'm probably missing like $400 from them, maybe more.

Yes unfortunately at the beginning of the year Bubblews put out a notification that they were reassessing the recent pending withdrawals and were cutting out pending payments that were made before a certain date.

I lost round thirty dollars because of this.  Turns out I was one of the lucky ones.  I know of many who lost hundreds of dollars because they had many payments that were paid to them and were now lost.  Truth be told though I lost around two hundred dollars in the year and a half I was on Bubblews because there were three other payments along the way that I never received and now never will.

As for Bubblews being a scam, when it began it wasn't, it was a great website to hang out at and to earn a little money while doing so.  But things started to crumble last summer and the program never recovered.  Its sad that we lost money there but Bubblews never made a secret of the fact that their website wasn't a job, it was a place where they chose to share the revenue they made and how much they chose to share was up to them.

Oh well, good thing I never really participated in Bubblews when it was popular. I just registered and that's it. I would really be disheartened if all my hard work has been put to waste. I think revenue sharing sites do have a shelf-life, and when money is not as good as it used to be, they stop paying under the guise of so many excuses.

It seems to be still chugging along, slowly paying outstanding payouts even to this day. I was surprised at just how many loyal writers Bubblews still has. I've even read some comments from people saying they're happy to write for nothing as Bubblews is such a good place to be!

I think some people were also happy to stay, amid rumours that the owners are considering lowering the cash-out threshold to $25. I don't know how true these claims are, though. I guess it doesn't help that all these new writing sites that are mushrooming all over the place are folding just as soon as they start operating!

Slandering Bubblews like you are claiming it as a scam is in fact against the law, there is no history of your payout recently because they did some changes to the website. You will be paid in 30-35 days if you are in the US, UK and some other country. If not you will be waiting about 60 days, this is so they can weed out the spam and plagiarized material. Before you open your mouth,I suggest that you know the facts and actually read the CEO articles so that you can understand what is happening. I cashed out on the sixth of this month and of course there is no record there yet due to the changes, also on the old format there was no record of it either. Keep yourself a personal record and then if they are late past the 35 day allotted time then complain to their support staff. BUBBLEWS IS NOT A SCAM!

On all of these sites, you're the first person I've seen defend Bubblews. Very impressive defense for the system. So how long have you been working for them?

I don't mean to be a broken record by why are people still writing for this website? There is other sources and places you can go to write similar post. After what has happened I refused to go back to this site and I hope others do the same. Its a shame what happened to them but its also a shame what happened to us the writers of the community. I wouldn't be defending them ever.

Actually there was a time when a lot of people would have responded that way. I've written a few articles about Bubblews which I published at HubPages, and in my earlier ones I stated that honest members would get paid. That was before I fell victim to Bubblews being selective in who they paid.

The author of the comment you quoted has been remarkably silent since Bubblews' new year's announcement about the redemptions that wouldn't be honoured. I wonder if s/he is still being paid.

That's how scams work, they pay a few, more people come and then they pay none, a well done scam Bubblews!

Bubblews is a site I've wanted to join for some time but always avoided. Primarily because of posts such as this one. Many people have complained about late payment, no payment and even selective payment. This doesn't instill much confidence in me in wanting to contribute to this site. My time is valuable and I don't want to be spending it on opportunities that don't seem reliable.

If you're looking for a site that pays for interaction, try myLot. You're not likely to make a lot of money there, but at least you'll get paid for the time you spend there. Bubblews has been going steadily downhill this year and even its die-hard supporters are now moving over to myLot.

I can only answer for myself, but I tried this site long after the reports of non-payment came in. I figured that some people might have been exaggerating, or they were just behind in paying people. Honestly, I can not see how anyone makes it to the $50 payout. I accumulated pennies, and that was after a few hours' worth of writing. I think the site is ridiculous.

It wasn't so hard to earn $50 in 2013-4, but the site was losing money so eventually they reduced what they paid to a small fraction of what it once was. I think what they pay probably depends on what country you live in too, because some people seem to earn more quickly than others. On the rare occasion I've still published anything there I've been lucky to make one cent per post, so there's no point in my even trying to reach payout again, even though I need less than $10.

At the moment some of their members who have tried to cash out have been waiting for their money for several months anyway. I believe a few members got paid this week, but a lot of those waiting for money have received nothing so far.
