Postloop Blogs?
« on: November 03, 2014, 09:56:58 AM »
I have been noticing more and more forums are going offline or are come and go and I am struggling to keep enough active sites to be able to make even my $5 a day goal.  I am thinking of joining more of the blogs, but so far have not had a good experience with them.  Chicklit says unlimited posts, but I have made 5, not on the same day, and none of them were ever approved by the moderator.  Writedge does not seem to load properly so I can't even find where a blog post is to read it and comment, and a couple others I subscribed to hardly EVER add new content for me to comment on.

Anyone have any tips?  Before I spend a lot of time signing up to a ton of blog, can anyone tell me which ones are worth my efforts?

I have tried signing up and subscribing on some blogs too but not earning enough points from those blogs.
Usually, it will take some time to see the points updated and there are times that the posts are not approved or the owner just do not check it. Also it is easy to run out of posts in a blog to comment to especially if the blog owner is not updating his blog regularly.

I've been disappointed with posting on blogs too.  I just gave up on them.  My only suggestion which is what I'm going to do is to concentrate on posting threads and check on them hopefully to post replies and hopefully boost my points.  I'm still fairly new at this but I'm not to new to know when I'm not getting where I want to be.

Ah, the postloop blogs are the only aspect of the site that has been a huge disappointment for me. I've tried a few of them and just seem to have very bad luck with them, but I end up hearing the same complaint from plenty of others as well. It seems the blogs just don't work as seamlessly as forum posting- it's a shame because there's a fair list sometimes and it can be fairly tempting but not if you're just going to wind up wasting your time. My suggestion is just steer clear of the blogs and focus instead on forums- even ones that aren't 100% your cup of tea but that you could learn about. Start some threads, if you don't know enough to share information, try to get a conversation going by posting as a beginner or whatever and asking some questions...you may find it easier to get conversations going that way and have a few posting opportunities in one thread.

The first time I posted on a blog, I didn't earn any points. I got disappointed and decided not to touch the blog section of PostLoop again. I still see a lot of people having the same problem. I guess you can report it to their support team but I didn't want to go through this hassle. I have more than enough forums to post on.

Ha! I've never even noticed Postloop has a blogs list. I'll give it a try and see, but after everybody's comments here I suspect it's going to be a dead loss.

This is why I love this forum so much. There's always something to learn and lots of information.  ;D

I can only stress on this.Once you get your ratings a notch higher you get to signup to most sites and after that you can easily earn a $5 a day.
It might look simple but this is the root of every earning in postloop.
Also try posting in forums of PL and ping those mods abt it,you might get lucky.

I have never posted on Postloop blogs because it's too annoying, we have to read and read and read to make a comment, so it's just too time consuming, the forums are way better.

I have been checking the forum lists every day and have signed up for literally every single forum I could possibly legitimately use.  I don't play any video games and never have, so I don't bother with those as it's just a bad postloop rating waiting to happen.  I am only trying blogs because I have run out of sites.  I did find a few of them the other day that automatically posted my comment and credited for me.  They were the donpayfull blog, IT blog and Foodall blog which were the top rated ones that day.  I may try to add some more another day.  Basically I do all my forum posting then go to the blogs last if I have the time.

I have also found that signing up for the blogs can be problematic. I signed up and received mail but no way of being able to communicate on the blog site. I prefer the forums and for the past two days I have made posts that have not registered, probably whilst they are going offline or in a bad signal area. I am not sure but I have also not reached my target.

It seems the blogs just don't work as seamlessly as forum posting-

Do you have idea why? I don't really understand it because it's still posting, so what's the difference? Why is forum posting more seamless?

With forum posting you generally have a lot less to read before you can post a reply, or you can start a new thread.  It's just less time consuming, which is why I do the forums first unless my brain is just not in a place where I can be creative enough for the forums I have left to do.

I think that a forum is made to post, while a blog doesn't has the same communication dynamic that is why it's way slower there IMO.

I have not tried postloop blog yet I was thinking about it but after reading these post I don't think I will.  I myself am not a bloger and don't know much about it.  I will say if there is a way to make money with it I would try but I don't think on this site there would be much of a point.

I steer clear of the blog list, never had any luck with them either.  I stick to just the forum list.  I have had the same problem with Chicklit.  Was just about to unsubscribe from them.  I haven't seen any benefit from them at all.
