I never heard of Blogjob. It sounds like an interesting site though. I had a blog and it got to be such a pain posting on it, and I was having difficulty putting new content on there so I gave it up. I mean if you could be paid to post articles and keep the blog up, that sounds like it would be a really good thing. I am not sure why that would be important to them though.

It can't be easy competing with the established sites. Maybe they're paying for content to try to build up the site quickly. They also pay for traffic brought in by members using their social sharing buttons, though that payment is limited to 25 points per day, but I guess it's still an incentive to share. If enough people make an effort to get their content seen, it will get the name of the site out there and hopefully everyone will gain in the long term.

This site sounds a lot like Bubblews to me. That is also a site that pays your for posting articles, interacting with other members and sharing your content, but they have a ton of secret restrictions that you are not aware of as a new member, and then they refuse to pay you because you broke their rules. I will check your site out, though. You never know, they might be better then what I have experienced so far.

Well, I do live in the United States and was quite interested in Blogjob after hearing about it here.  After all, I was an active member of Bubblews till it became a shell of its former self.  Anyway, I went over to try to sign up but got the same message not accepting new members.  I did some research and it turns out that this happened at the beginning of the month due to some issues on the website with points and clearing up the issue.  As things stand they are saying they will open up to new members after the issue is straightened out. I guess all we can do at this point is keep an eye on the website and when it reopens.

I love Blogjob. It has been around for a little over a year, I have found, although I have just joined myself. I like that we get paid for blog posts even if we never sell an ad. That has been my problem with the other blog sites. I like posting in their forums and their groups for pay. I like that it is based off of what you do, and not off of what somebody else does on your site. It is a bit of work to get paid out because there is a 150 point limit, but if you know how to work the system a little, you can make more than that a day. If you're interested in joining, use my link. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login I can get 50 points just for you joining off of my link.

Wow, that's a bit worrying! Would you happen to know what some of those secret rules are? I mean, is there even a reason behind not publicising the rules, it just seems weird? I just joined and this has really put me on edge LOL

I'm not aware of any secret rules at BlogJob. Or any issues with members getting paid, though I haven't earned enough to cash out yet. Bubblews was the site that had those issues.

I don't think they're that similar either. Bubblews didn't pay for the articles, only the activity on them. And there was no limit to what one could earn in a day, which is part of the reason that their pay structure wasn't sustainable. BlogJob allows you to earn money from other sources, which Bubblews never did. Even a link to another site where you earned money was enough to get you banned at Bubblews, while referral links are acceptable at BlogJob. If your blog can attract a lot of visitors, interaction with other members may not even be necessary. I think there's potential to do a lot better there than at Bubblews in the long term.

I can understand that you're both wary of being caught by another scam though. I am too. Under the circumstances I'd say it's best not to put all your eggs in one basket.

This is the first I'm hearing of it, but I love hearing about new blogging sites. The one I use now is called myLot. I absolutely love it! I used to blog on Bubblews, but the site really went downhill and earning a penny was a struggle, let alone the $50 minimum payout. Thanks for sharing! I am going to check this out now.

Registration is still not open. I wish there was a waiting list or a way to get news via email. It looks like such a great site too. Oh well, hopefully there will be another like it. I really miss blogging. I wanted to start a WordPress blog, but it just got so complicated and looked costly to start earning.

It can be very cheap to set up your own blog, but to start earning takes time and even on blogjob you have to insert your Adsense codes. Content is the key thing, so build up your content first.

With all these things there is no quick or easy way to do it, as the market is saturated and if you don't have an Adsense account then you seem to have to rely on points to cash out.

Registration being closed is just a temporary thing. I explained the situation in You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login so I won't repeat it all here.

Writing at BlogJob isn't very different to starting an ordinary WordPress blog, but it does offer the opportunity to earn a bit of money for your posts while your blog is getting established. It might be worth your while to wait as I'm sure registration will open again soon.

It seems the issue is over fake referrals and members trying to get credit for bogus accounts. I don't know why he can't just credit the account after X amount of posts have been made, or make a criteria the account has to be active for a month instead of trying to come up with a code that will spot fake accounts.

That will make it easier and those who do make fake accounts will be deterred. Right now from the forum posts people are annoyed they can't gain points by referring people. I looked at the business and professional blogger accounts and the requirements of traffic. If you had that amount of traffic, you wouldn't need blogjob!

I don't really agree with that. I've managed to generate some decent traffic for one of my blogs over the last couple of weeks, but my AdSense earnings are still negligible. Ideally I'd like to find a source of income that's better than what BlogJob is paying, but as a first-time blogger, what they pay certainly helps.

Thanks for your assurance, Gina :) I knew anyway that BlogJob isn't at all like Bubblews, the platforms are very different. But then you hear things from different people and you start to panic LOL I've also spoken to a few people who are on BlogJob who are very happy with and assure me there's no issue around payment. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut instinct and take a leap of faith. After all, nothing's guaranteed anywhere, right?

I went to sign up the other day and I got the same response.  Hopefully, it will get straightened out soon.  It sounds like my sort of thing.  I love writing down my thoughts and opinions on things.

"User registration is currently not allowed." I hope they accept sign-ups soon. Maybe they're upgrading the system. This looks like a home for us, workers on board. Meanwhile, I'll read more reviews about BlogJob and investigate a bit more.
