Need Something to Replace Bubblews.
« on: December 11, 2014, 11:03:27 PM »
I need something to replace Bubblews, since I've completely given up on the site finally. I'm missing more than ten payments from them and I can barely make a dollar a day there. Does anyone know of anything similar to Bubblews that actually pays?

I gave up on them months ago then tried them again and have discovered that you're right... It's impossible to make any money there anymore. I know that I do the same promo work there that I do elsewhere and get good results but don't get anything there. I'm not sure what's happening as they were once a really good site. As far as what to do... What are you interested in doing? There's so much to choose from it would be helpful to know what you're looking for.

I do have an account in Bubblenews but never work on it really since I have read that there are some who are not getting paid even before. It will be very risky to keep trying the site with what have been happening in there.
Not sure if what exactly you are looking for but if its article directory/revenue sharing site, maybe you will like to try Triond.

I am basically looking for a website where I can write about basically whatever I want without having to search through tasks or assignments or specific topics to write about, like Bubblews offers. I know that Milk the Blog offers that as well, but considering I have only made one cent there this money for four posts is absurd and a waste of my time. But maybe I will try Triond if it's what I'm looking for.

Bubblews not paying out ten payments owed? I wonder what their deal is. I am not a member of that. I just put in an inquiry to ask about if they are not paying people. Lets see what they say.

These Bubblews type of sites don't seem to last. I think the business model behind such opportunities is deeply flawed, and that's why they tend to shut down after a short period of time. It's best to apply your writing skills elsewhere. Join some freelance sites and try find paying clients who you can work with on a regular basis. You'll also earn much more as well.

Quite frankly, I doubt very much we'll ever see anything quite as lucrative as Bubblews as we've now heard the model was heavily flawed and not very sustainable. I missed out on the benefits of working on Bubblews and have no real experience of just how good it was in its heyday, beyond other people's accounts of the sort of money they were making. I have a feeling many people will have learnt from the mistakes that the site made and will be looking to avoid them at all costs.

Well, for awhile I was trying Blogjob out but now they have suspended points till further notice.  This is kind of sad because this one had probably the same potential as Bubblews in the way of making money.  It also seem to have more stability which is something is hard to come by in these sort of websites.  I am still hopeful it will come back though, it wasn't revenue issues that caused them to shut down points it was a software glitch that was disrupting the total views from outside sources.  Anyway, when they fix the problem and go back to points, which I believe they will I am sure it will be announced here if not I will announce it.

I wish that I shared your faith in BlogJob coming back strong. I find it a bit alarming that the owner hasn't posted an update of any sort in nearly three weeks.

I signed up, but heard a lot of bad reviews of them before I started putting any effort in. I've seen payment proofs from people I know before, it's a shame they have gone downhill since then.

I also had an account with Bubblews but I have only written a few posts. I didn't realize that by the time I signed up, it was already going downhill so I haven't been able to make money out of my posts. Until now I still haven't found any other site which is similar to it but just like you, I would also love to find one with a similar platform where I can post just about anything I could think of and not have to choose from a list of topics.

That's exactly what happened to me, @gracer. I registered with the site just as things were going pear shaped and wasn't even aware of this! Clearly, I was too late for the party LOL I have yet to see a site that's like Bubblews, and I'm willing to bet it was a one off, a phenomenon the likes of which we won't ever see again. I think a lot of people will have learnt valuable lessons from the colossal mistakes Bubblews admin made, and will try to avoid them as much as possible.

I don't think there's anything quite like Bubblews, but myLot is a nice option, though you can't expect to earn anywhere near as much as some people earned at Bubblews.

A new site that seems to be drawing in former Bubblews members is BlogBourne. They pay in 'coins' with the value to be determined based on each month's earnings, so it's impossible to say how much one can earn at this stage, but on the positive side they allow affiliate links, so that's an extra way to earn if you promote the right things.

I was one of the lucky ones that was a member with Bubblews before they went downhill so I got paid until the end. I have yet to find a site similar. There have been many copy cat like sites since then but they all have shut down it seems. I am not sure what I could suggest. Blogbourne was one I heard of a while back but I don't know if they are being yet, I will be keeping an eye on them though and go from there.

I have just recently heard about BlogBourne from another thread too but I haven't checked out the site yet. I hope this new site would really work out well so we can all have something new to work on after the collapse of Bubblews. I'm guessing that the owners of BlogBourne have already heard about the mistakes of Bubblews so I hope they could create a system that would not make them vulnerable to the same misfortune that Bubblews had.
