I think I have a new favorite money making site
« on: December 17, 2014, 11:24:01 AM »
For the last couple of days I have been playing around with a few survey sites just to see how long it takes me to make $5 with them and I think Global Test Market is my favorite so far.

I find it so easy to just complete a few surveys and even though sometimes I don't qualify for them, the ones that I do qualify for have earn pretty high points. This makes it easy to cashout quick with them. I have just been letting my points build up but I think I will cashout soon just to see how long they take to pay me.

Does anyone else use this site to make daily income with?

I'm a member but I haven't really tried very hard and worked very hard at earning any money through the site. How much have you made there so far and how long exactly has it taken you to make that much? I'm looking for another site!

I have created an account on globaltestmarket years ago but never really earn something from it.
I can still remember that I managed to qualify and answered some surveys there but not enough to receive a payout. I think it was not a good site for someone who is not from the US so, I just stopped using it as well as the other survey sites I have joined before.

I researched making money from home for months. I dove into a few PTC sites and the earnings were so slow I knew there had to be more out there. It took me 4 months of constant research and applying for jobs I didn't even want before I got a decent paying part time job. I still research and apply weekly for new and better opportunities. I kept 2 of the highest paying PTC sites and still earn small amounts on them weekly. Swagbucks is my favorite because it is very user friendly and it has the best payment variety options.

If you don't mind sharing I'd be curious to know which PTC sites you recommend. I've tried a few but gave up on them last year. However, since things went wrong at Bubblews I've been trying to find some other earning opportunities and sadly most of them aren't available in my country. One of the earlier comments said that Globaltestmarket isn't good for people who aren't in the US, so clearly there's no point in my trying that.

I joined GMT a few months back and it took me the longest time to earn 20 points to cash out.  On the brighter side though it didn't take longer to receive my payment to Paypal.

I haven't participated since then.

Global Test Market is a good earner for me too. Without spending too much time on it I made about $60 in a month. I rarely go on it as it is extremely painful to me, I can't stand getting booted out of a survey and then some of the surveys are very boring. But for the few I managed to get through, I got to around 1200 points pretty quick.

I have heard some bad stories about them though, locking people out of their accounts or not delivering payments. They actually locked me out of my account and said it was because of inactivity (not possible), but reinstated it when I emailed them. At that point I cashed out as quickly as possible, and had to wait a good 8 or so days before the money came through to my paypal.

So I do like them and think they can be a high earner, but just be careful and cash out as soon as possible.

Yeah, GTM has a pretty good reputation for surveys in general, but I haven't really made much $ with them because I NEVER QUALIFY FOR ANY SURVEY!!! Maybe next year I'll move to a more advertiser friendly country but until then, it's incredibly frustrating to waste time on surveys

I used to use them and have been paid once, but when I hit my next thresh hold and tried to cash out, My account was frozen. The support people would not respond to my emails and I got so irritated I gave up and left them with my hard earned $30. I can't do survey sites anymore anyway because I find it too frustrating and time consuming when I don't qualify.

I am exactly where you are, kjonesm1! I just don't find surveys worth my time at all. I was very hopeful and enthusiastic about them when I first started working online, but I soon found them to be a joke. I'm about to get rid of MintVine as I always get invited to participate, yet the minute I try to do a survey, I'm disqualified! The only one I'll continue with is YouGov :)

Has anyone tried pinecone research? I hear that's a great site that sends you sample goods sometimes.

Yes, but with MintVine you still get points if you don't qualify, their daily poll and now they have offer walls. I've cashed out twice with them and only done one survey. I see it as more profitable than any revenue sharing site. I don't mind be screened out as I can make 20 points a day within seconds still.

I was also a member there, but I can't seem to qualify for a survey. After 6 months of taking surveys and at then it said I was not qualify, I just had my account deleted. I wasted too much time on it for a survey. If they said the survey takes about 20 minutes, it will always end up like 40 minutes and that is a lot of time wasted.

Glad some of you are making money though from them!

No, I've never tried this site before. I am not really a fan of survey sites because most of them don't accept users from my country.

When I was really into doing surveys 4-5 years ago, they were one of my favorites - they were reputable in my opinion.  They had good quality surveys, they credited me for each survey I did (I always checked, and there were some sites that didn't) and if I remember correctly, they didn't take forever to pay out.  I stopped doing surveys awhile ago, but was thinking of starting again, as I earn more doing that than with swagbucks (my main earner), so it's good to know they are still around and reputable.  Thanks for mentioning them, I'll have to put them back on my list.
