Musicxray
« on: May 19, 2014, 10:57:23 AM »
I've been registered at musicxray for about one year now, what it seemed to be something as simple as listening to songs and being paid 10 cents per listened song, turned out to be something fishy, as when I approached the withdraw limit ($20) they stopped sending me songs. So yeah, it's a scam, don't waste your time like I did.

Thank you for the heads up! As I read the beginning of your post, I thought this would be something awesome to look into. I can imagine how disappointing it must have been. :(

You got that right alexis, I still check the site once or twice per week because in one year I managed to gather $18.70, pretty much ridiculous right? I am just 13 songs away from the $20 withdraw limit, but the guys from musicxray are not sending me any more songs...

Thanks guys for the heads up. I signed up for MusicXray about six months ago, and only earned a dollar.  >:( It's terrible enough that they only send you songs about once or twice a month, but after hearing about how they stop sending you songs all together once you reach the minimum is just ridiculous. I am going to cancel my account now.

I've found that Slice The Pie is a much more legit way to earn money listening to music. I'm sure you guys are aware of it, but if not, you should google it. They have music available almost 24/7, and you can login anytime and earn some change by listening and writing a small review. You can then cash out when you hit 10 dollars.  :D

So that seems something that makes way more sense ACM, if you don't mind me asking, how much time do you need to work to make those $10 to cash-out?

Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for sites to pull this kind of bull. It's pretty infuriating spending all that time on something and then it's just wasted!

Well, you get paid only about ten cents for every review. I wind up cashing out around $12 to $15 dollars at the end of the month. Other downsides is they out a cap on how much you can earn a day. It's still not a way to make a living, but it is the best and most fair opportunity I've found for earning money listening to music.

It's a shame that promising jobs result in scam "opportunities" but remember the old saying "when it's too good to be true, probably it is."

Usually jobs that involve having fun, listening to songs, playing games, watching videos or so on, are sadly pure scams.

True, If they could pay people to do fun things, I'm sure they would do it themselves/use people they know etc. However, when you are desperate for that extra bit of cash, seeing that too good to be true option can be so enticing.

Yeah, it's not much money that is true, I wonder how much time per day do you spend to get that amount?

As for musicxray, I've heard some people saying that they have cash-out a few times, but to be honest I don't believe in them, no one I trust.

I deleted my account because it was just two songs every other day or so.  Ridiculous.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Musicxray. I share your sentiment in being disappointed by the deceptive practice of luring people to the site for income. I think most of you looking for at home work are good honest people looking to make an honest living so why is it so hard to find business that share that sentiment.

I think we just get a feel or a vibe if the site is reliable or not. For example, I was receiving one or two songs per day, not too bad. When I got close to $16 or $17 I started to get one or two per... month! So I talked to their helpdesk and nothing they told me made sense, they know they are scamming, they even have an helpdesk for it!

Music Xray is not a scam at all. Yes it may take a long time to get to the $20 cash out, but they do pay you once you reach the threshold. I have been paid and I know others who have been as well.
