It can take you forever to get to the $20 withdrawal limit, that is if you do manage to do so. Your test music will suddenly dry up completely and you find yourself with nothing after a long time of scrupulously listening to every song given.

Again, it's not a real bummer, it's just something you can have and keep on going and check when you receive the e-mail notification.

No money in it whatsoever. I have been with them 2 months and have earned .15 cents. Waste of time.

Mmm, I find that hard to believe wulfman because they pay 10 cents per songs, so how did you manage to get 15 cents??

Thanks for the information about this site.  I love to review/rate music, but not for that little bit of money.  I would get bored waiting for new songs every once in a while.  There really wouldn't be a point in working there.  No wonder those of you working at the site decided not to do it anymore.

I have been a member of MusicXray for a couple of months now and I have made a whopping $.20. I got a few pointers from the workersonboard website and have been changing up some of the things on my account to enhance my chances of getting more music to listen to. I only got one in reference to my change up. I have only had two music samples since I joined. It is quite aggravating to even deal with. So, it is one of the last things I even deal with. I could probably put a little more effort into changing more of my things up on my account to get more samples to work with, eventually I will.

I signed up with Music Xray about a month ago. It's quite simple to complete and earn, but like previous comments state it is a bit tricky reaching their $20 payout requirement. When I signed up they ask about my musical interest and since I enjoy a variety of genres, I just knew finding music for me to rate would be a breeze for them. The first week I received two alerts and another one the following week. My account has been pretty quiet ever since. I check back from time to time, thinking that maybe I overlooked the email sent telling me that I have new songs to rate, but still no luck.
If I had to rate this site I'd give it a 3 out of 10, simply because there's not enough material to rate. I also question their intentions to actually pay-out their subscribers. I wonder if they set their payout limit at such a high amount purposely to discourage the Impatient ones amongst us.
Best of Luck!

What a shame :(. Well thanks for the information either way. Good to know which ones to avoid altogether.

It's a shame indeed, but I believe it's not their fault, most likely no one is paying them to put the songs there, so what can they do?

It's not easy to maintain an online business I am afraid, it's great to get paid, but getting it going on the other side must be hard.

I have signed up for that site but never even received any songs. Thank you for the warning. I will now be removing that link from my bookmark bar.

That is so disappointing! I actually heard about musicxray through a ladies magazine.  I'm surprised that they are publishing these money making opportunities that are actually not paying.  They also recommended Bubblews, which didn't pay me.  I might just have to write to the magazine and let them know they need to do some more homework before they recommend sites like these.

I signed up about 3 weeks ago and still have not received a song. It sounds pretty cool to get paid for listening to music but I think it's because artists are not paying for the service. Not a lot of demand to supply to everyone work.
