I have a couple of those that I keep in reserve but I am seriously considering dropping. Humanatic is one, I can work on Humanatic for say 3 hours and not even make a $1. I think that has to be the worst. I'm really undecided with it at the minute, and have put it on the back burner while I explore other options.

I found Humanatic to be an interesting option, but after being working  there for some days I'm starting to believe this is a scam after making 3 cents per 3 correctly reviewed calls, and the fourth wrong making me receive a penalty of minus 3 cents, repeating again every three calls. Too much coincidence, don't you think?

This has meant spending a whole day in humanatic, making no money other than the $1 dollar welcome, grr.

I understand pennies add up, but their are a lot of tasks that only pay one or two. Sites like Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars, and Quickrewards are notorious for these. I admit, when the surveys get annoying (mainly from disqualifications), I will switch to the one or two-cent jobs. It's not much, but it throws money on the pile. Do you think this paltry amount is not worth your time or do you take all that you can get?

As you stated the pennies to do add up, but for me its just so hard to do. If I do not see a big incentive then its hard for me to be motivated. Like you, I have been constantly disqualified for the surveys, and end up doing things of lesser value.

I do not spend a great deal of time working on the tasks that only pay a penny or 2 because you can literally still be at a few pennies after 30 minutes to an hours worth of work. Each day I try to jump on sites like Inbox Dollars and do the penny tasks that do not take me much time at all to complete. I can click on a paid email or watch a quick video while I am in line at the grocery store or something like that. My rule of thumb is never to spend more than about 15 minutes per day doing penny tasks...not worth too much more effort than that.

Depending on the micro task some of them are only worth five cents or so, but I've never seen something worth less than that. I try to avoid those tasks though because they're so low paying, but when they can be completed very quickly they really do add up quickly. Besides that no since I basically gave up on humanatic.

If there is no opportunity on some of the sites I am currently engaged in then I switch back to sites that pays low unfortunately. I do that to fill in the gap and you see they still add up. I know these microtasks will eat your time and may even waste it but they are not bad as long as they are legit and pays you

I have not gone back to the penny tasks, and I have been back working regularly online now for more than a month. Honestly, I think that if they can't do any better than a penny for 3-15 minutes of work, they must have a low opinion of their workers, and in turn, that makes me have a low view of them, as well. This is precisely why I have not gone back to Swagbucks, as almost everything they are offer is penny work.

Nope. That is seriously way too low of a price to work with.

Wow. That sounds like a huge scam if they are marking every fourth call as wrong and taking away 3 cents. The only time I do tasks for pennies is when I'm doing a quick task on mturk. Try to find something other than Humanatic because it sounds like too much work for pennies.

I've done that with PTC sites but soon grew tired of it. This is just not a good way to secure any form of decent income. Paidverts has paid well though but I've also invested some money, fortunately I got my return on investment. If the pay is way too low, I generally avoid the opportunity at hand. Likewise, if the pay offered seems rather high I also tend to be skeptical, my scam-detector is activated.  ;)

Oh yes! I do work on sites that pay a penny or two and depends on the length of time that I have to devote in, I usually drop sites that are too demanding or taking too long to finish the tasks. I dropped all the survey sites, as these sites are more like scam to me. They take so long to finish, they collect your information, and at the end they said you're not qualified.

I am a member of a couple of "small task" websites, and there are a lot of jobs on those where you are asked to do things such as watch videos on YouTube for a penny or two each time. I don't mind doing this, because I just have the videos playing in the background whilst I am doing other work that needs to be completed, so it is pretty much like a passive income to me. I don't make a huge amount from it, but I always believe that a small amount is better than nothing, and that is what I like to aim for in my work.

You are talking about micro tasks sites and those sites aren't worthy at all, like you say you earn a penny or two for tasks that might take minutes, so what are we doing there, losing time?

I definitely do the penny tasks, if I do one for nearly a day, it'll generally add up to a dollar. Not that a dollar is a lot of money, but for a click every 35 seconds, I'm not complaining.

No. I could literally go outside and pick up a penny or five off of the street.

Yep, those tasks are really a waste of time, I would not do it.
