I've been a member for a few months now. When I first signed up, I immediately was able to listen to and rate two songs. Since then, it's been radio silence. Like the rest of you, I tried changing up my genres list about 750000 times (LOL) but still nothing. I'm disappointed because I love listening to music and was looking forward to making some milk money from this place. Guess it just wasn't meant to be.  :-[

Musicxray is a site that claims to match music with a list of artist you provide.  In return the site claims to pay you for listening to new music.  I have been with them for several weeks and changed my list many times as they suggested in emails.  Their customer support just spouts off the same canned email when you try to report an issue.  I believe they just don't have the songs for people to listen to but are afraid to admit they don't have anyone paying for their music to be listened to.  Has anyone experienced the same?  If not I suggest avoiding this site. It will just waste your time setting up your account for nothing.

I have some experience with Music Xray. I joined the website a few months ago and I got music to listen to everyday. Soon I earned $10 U.S dollars. Unfortunately after I earned that amount of money I was not sent any more music. Keep in mind that $20 U.S dollars is the payment threshold, therefore I was not able to get the $10 U.S dollars. This really hurt me because I treated Music Xray like a job. What also bothered me was that one of songs I recommended, actually was beneficial to the artiste and the artiste got signed with a record label. Although I was happy that her song did well, I was unhappy that after helping that I ended up with nothing at all.

I wouldn't waste my time. It's like slice the pie and it's so horrible for how much you get paid. Your time would be better spent on sites where you'll make actual money for your time.

I heard about Musicxray a long time ago, however, I avoided joining the site because it was under paying.

I just started using Musicxray about two weeks ago. So far I have had at least one and sometimes two songs to listen to when I sign in each day. I think it is all determined on the genres and artists you mention when making your profile. I thought about which singers are currently popular and put them as my favorite artists. As far as it being legit payment-wise I don't know, because I haven't made enough yet. At least if it does turn out to be as terrible as the reviews say it is, I only wasted about a minute of my time each day on it.

I've joined the site but I quit upon a week joining them because it's just not worth it. The inbox are pretty dry most of the time. When I get notified in my email for a new song, I usually found out that I'm too late since my inbox are empty, even though sometimes I'm just 10 minutes late which to me is pretty ridiculous. So I decided to stop using that site altogether, but I don't think I'll delete my account just yet.

I hated musicxray. I kept getting emails from them saying that I had songs but I only had one and they stopped sending me some. It's not worth it. Very limited songs and half of them are not even good as well!

To be honest I don't care that much if the songs are good or not as long as they send them, which is not the case, so definitely not worth the time.

Ya, I thought Musik Xray sounded good too. Unfortunately, it turned out to be no good. I would check in almost every day, and there was never any music to review. In two months, not one song. I went in and changed my choices for genres and artists, but it still turned up nothing. It seemed strange to me though, because other people had posted on YouTube how they use it and it seemed to work well for them. Definitely not for me.

Forget about this site really. I got paid once $20 years ago when the site was still active, but now is dead and buried...

I guess I'm lucky? LOL I got paid by Musicxray last year. My second pay out will come in about two weeks. (It takes three weeks for the processing.) Honestly, i do not recommend it because in my case, I get paid $20 every year! I always tell myself that it's a waste of time but I still keep coming back. I love music. :)

Your a lucky guy if you are still getting songs. What preferences do you have in your music selections?

Yeah this company is still being touted as making 12 dollars an hour, however, according to real users, you would be extremely fortunate to make 12 dollars a month. Most people are making like 3 dollars per month. You rarely get tunes with this company, and the whole thing doesn't seem worth while at all, unless you want to make pennies. Count me out!

$3 per month? No way, that would mean you would cash out at least once per year and that is not true. It's a big scam that gives no money at all.

I have been a member of this site for a while now and I have only made $1.20.  I receive an email every single day saying "there may be music in my inbox" to listen to; however, there is nothing there when I visit the site.  There have actually been a number of songs that I really like, so I like this aspect of belonging to the site.  However, I wish that there could be more songs available.
