Does Padiverts Belong Here?
« on: February 08, 2015, 09:45:37 AM »
I have to wonder if this is a PTC that should be on the blacklist.  I tried it not once but twice and found I was discouraged both times.  What I found was that when you first sign up you have to earn what is known as Bonus Ad Points just to be able to click adds and you need around 1200 of trhese.  Don't think you can leave then come back to do it later, why because the system take Bonus Ad Points or BAPS for short to list more ads, to take a tax of around 400 BAPS and then removes them for ads that expired.  So, try to get all the bonus points before this happens.  After this the ads given aren't that much to talk about and could be found on such sites as Clixsense or Neobux in amounts. Yet you have to stay on these ads for thirty seconds then try to solve a difficult captcha to get credited.  This can take a couple hours if not more depending on ads. Meanwhile BAPS are being taken for more ads being listed and for taxes.

Now I tried to get into the higher paying ads by buying an ad campaign for one dollar, I figured that I would give the program one more chance by doing this.  Well, this wasn't a good investment. Yes,. I got some bigger ads and more BAPS points because of the purchase. But I also had a whole lot more BAP pointts taken from me, because as I found out the larger the ads the more BAPS taken.  Also most of the ads given to me now were a penny and there were hundreds of them I practically spent an entire day clicking ads not even getting to a dollar. I finally gave up on this website. I know that some are claiming to make money with Paidverts but I don't know how I sure couldn't do it.

Thanks for sharing your experience with this company. I am looking for ways to make extra money and appreciate when folks tell the truth about their experiences with a company or product, it saves me a lot of time and in some cases a lot of money.
So far I haven't tried any PTC sites but researched Neobux, and found person after person saying that they were spending a lot of time working but not making a lot of money. Sometimes I wonder if  the companies know that most people will get frustrated and quit before making enough to cash out, and they in turn get to keep that money and fatten their own pockets a little more? I hope this is not the case, but I do wonder..

Sharee,

I could not agree with you more. I feel like Humantics is like that. They should make it to where you want to do a good job and work harder for them. I guess all they care about is high cash flow. I worked hours for them and I am still not close to $10. my husband thought that I was crazy.

Same here. I was encouraged to sign up with Paidverts because there were a lot of good and positive reviews about them, claiming this PTC site pays well, and people were saying they have earned quite a good amount of money from it. However, when I tried it, I wasn't able to get much from it. I also invested $1 on it by buying their ad campaign, but it didn't work great for me as well. So I just decided to give it all up.

I wouldn't blacklist them simply because you never got paid. I didn't do so well either but plenty of people do make good money there. That said, I wouldn't recommend them either, maybe after their BAP swap.

Well, for me it does belong on a blacklist even if its just my own blacklist.  This is a website I certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone.  After my experience I found that it wasn't worth the trouble.  Maybe I didn't give it much of a chance, but I felt that with the BAPS program it was almost impossible to really get anywhere there.  Maybe some others have found the secret of the website and are making money on it, good for them.  But for me I don't have the time or the money to invest in it.

beautifulbutterfly, I went through the same thing with Humanatic. I persevered for a while and spent a lot of time on that site, trying to build up my $10. But in the end I threw my towel in because my money just wasn't rising. I decided to quit while I was ahead, on about $6.50. I doubt I'll be going back there in a hurry.

Paidverts is a legitimate site, but it has experienced serious problems over the past year. They discuss everything in their own forums, and they are fairly transparent of what is going on. Apparently, someone dealing with their finances stole large sums of money and disappeared; causing them major cash flow issues. They've also had trouble with PayPal which doesn't bode well for them either.

When I am researching on reviews about websites, I try to check the general thrust of arguments for or against signing up. But with Paidverts, this gets confusing. A number of people recommend it while an equal number don't. But I am miffed by the fact that you have to build up bonus points in order to click ads and then continue with the same. This seems to be a cyclical activity thats bound to use alot of time and cancel out the benefits. I wouldn't say its a scam but I wouldn't jumped into the bandwagon yet.
