Pay2Write Turns HelloFreedom.in?
« on: April 22, 2015, 11:45:48 AM »
So yesterday I received an email from Pay2Write, a site I barely used but I guess I signed up for to try a few months ago. They've reorganized their site and completely changed the domain name. So now they're called HelloFreedom.in, which gives me a little bit of hope that there will be a decent amount of freedom to be able to earn there while writing abotu whatever yo want. But I don't know. Although it's all different, you can log into this site with your original log in information.
I logged on and uploaded three articles, but there hasn't been too much movement on there. There are definitely people writing there, but not enough. It's similar to that of Bubblews / CGP because you can write about whatever you want, up to twelve articels a day, and its based off of views and comments. What I like is that they claim that as long as you have $0.01 in your bank by the first of the month, you'll get paid.
I'm not really keeping my hopes up too high for this, but it's an option. I'll keep uploading a few articles until the first, and if I get paid at all then I'll see where to go from there.
Did any of you guys get this email? Did you check it out? Am I wasting my time?

I wouldn't keep your hopes up either. Sounds too good to be true.

I haven't heard of this site before, but it sounds like it might be worth a try.  I wonder what the ".in" means.  Is this run out of a different country than the US?

From your post, it sounds like you write whatever you want, then get paid with other people reading and liking your posts?  How do they get people on their site reading articles?  I've never done a site like that, but can't imagine that too many people just read articles??

Yes, it's an Indian based webstie, I do know that. They have the most accomodations for Indian users, but it is international, and they accept paypal as a ways of being paid. It's very similar to Bubblews, as far as I know, where other users read, view, and comment on your posts. It all really has to do with the members of the website and the amount of work they are putting into viewing other people's posts. Yes you can advertise your articles on social media websites and those views count, but the majority of it depends on other site users. The homepage is full of new articles that have been submitted and popular ones as well that you can read, and if you do that person gets a cent for your view and another if you comment.

I also received an email from them today, but I just trashed it! I have about three posts on the old site, but don't know if I have earned anything. I haven't checked in for months because they keep changing their designs and their domain names.

The owner of this site was also a user from CGP, and he got deleted off the site for using users email to invite them to join his site.

I read the FAQ and there isn't a cash threshold that you have to reach before you are paid so that is a good thing. It looks like you can write short posts too which is also nice. I would give it a month or two and see how much you make before deciding if you are wasting your time or not. I just signed up myself and that's what I am going to do.

I have not heard about this site, but will give it a try. We earned good money on Bubblews in the beginning. Perhaps we can do that here for a while.

I don't know what to think of this site since I haven't had any experience of using it before. And yeah, it sounds promising, but just like you, I don't want to waste my time and effort on something that won't be profitable to me.

That's my plan. A few articles here and there to check and see if this is actually legit. Even if it's something that earns me money for a few months and then get shut down, that's fine for me!

Yes, I noticed this when I signed up last week.  The website was mentioned to me here and I decided to look into it.  However, when I signed up I noticed that it wasn't Pay2Write as was said her but going by the name Hello Freedom.  I admit I did decide to give it a chance, but so far I am not impressed.  I had to same sort of platform that Bubblews once had but problem here is I don't think it has the same aount of traffic.  Linkerzone seem to have more traffic on it, and we all know what happen to it.

Is linkerzone actually up and running? I wasn't sure if it was up again.

But yeah, I really haven't spent much time on there since I posted this feed. It doesn't seem worth my time to be honest.

When I was writing for CGP Gallery, someone approached via PM, suggesting I write for this site. It just didn't interest me at all. Shortly after that there was a discussion around the site on CGP Gallery, and it wasn't pretty. There were suggestions that although it accepted international writers, there was the possibility they wouldn't get paid. That was my cue to stop all research on it. Whether it was true or not, I don't know, but I'm not going anywhere near it. Good luck guys :)

There is a reason why they suddenly changed their domain name and that is something that makes me quite indecisive. The change could be good or could be a warning sign to stop and give this much thought. I had tried two other sites using the same format and I could sense that these are the sites that I would rather not get engaged in.

This doesn't such a great opportunity. It's another revenue-sharing site, and those don't usually last that long. Of course, everyone is free to try it out and see if it's something for them. But I prefer to spend my time on sites that genuinely pay, and have the track record to back it up.

I get concerned about sites that change their domain names like that. In my opinion they would have changed their name because of pending issues which i think may not have been resolved. I'm sure there is no much activities there because people are being careful of scam sites. This my opinion.
