LiveOps
« on: June 26, 2015, 08:42:52 PM »
Has anyone else worked at LiveOps? I've done it has an independent contractor for years, I enjoy having the extra income and making my own hours in-between my regular jobs. The job can be stressful, scheduling can get odd, and working nights opens you up to a lot of drunks but it was one of my first regular jobs so I am really attached lol. I will say that it is a great opportunity for experience when you are new to working at home and/or new to customer service/sales.

I haven't heard of this opportunity before, but if it worked out for you, I am glad. My schedule is pretty fixed so this won't be something I will look into. Is this an online job by the way?

I am a little like IcyBC in that I have a schedule that can't really be played around with, so I don't think that this is something that could work all that well for me, to be honest. However, I am very glad that is has worked for you, and that you're finding that you're able to make money out of it! If it works for some people then that's great, and half of the battle of working online from home is that we all have to find things that work well for us. Once we have done that, things become a lot easier, and allow us to earn the money that we need in order to survive.

This is actually the first time I have heard of LiveOps. Thank you for recommending it to us here. I wonder if they do accept international workers, I am from Asia by the way, and I would definitely love to have a regular online job.

Yes, it's 100% online. You do make your own schedule it's just sometimes difficult to schedule the blocks that you want. You are able to login and take calls without being on the schedule whenever you want although if it isn't busy your chances of getting a call are pretty slim. Scheduling worked out pretty well for me because I always loved the graveyard shift and they tended to be open more often than the day shift.

Thank you for answering my question! So it is a call center type of thing that you're working for. I used to be able to stay up late into the night when I was younger, but now even if you beat me, I would be just dead tired to move by 11:00 PM.

I have not heard of this site, but it certainly sounds like something that I might want to check out. I think it is one of the options that to investigate. There are a variety of online sites to allow you to do call center work at home. I am limited though because of my internet situation.

That sounds like a great opportunity and seems like a legit company. I would have loved to have gotten into something like that, but I am a home school mom now so phone jobs are off limits! All anyone would hear is my son playing in the background lol.

LiveOps is definitely a legit wah company. I worked there for a couple years back in 2008-2009. While I did enjoy the work, there were times when I would sit and have no calls coming in. At that time they paid you per minute of talk time while you were on a call plus sales bonuses. I just never could find a regular time to work when I would always have calls.

I have never heard about this company before. So you are basically doing Call Center services from home? Is it available internationally as well, or only US?

Chat support is something which i have done before. It did not have the audio calls, but only chat support and it was actually pretty easy job to do.

I used to login, in my free hours, which ensured that it became easier for me to achieve a work life balance and plus the earnings directly went into my savings which was an added advantage.

I wouldn't be wary of taking incoming audio calls though in the future.

This is the first I've heard of it.  I would love to find out more, though.  This may be buried somewhere in the post, but can you post a link to their website and maybe a bit about their requirements?  Thanks!

I am trying to trace back though my memory here and think if I have heard of this one or not.  I am not really sure, but it just has one of those names that seems to resonate with me for some reason.  I am interested now though, and it sounds like a good option that may be worth a look.
