Unable to successfully sign-up

After listening to Alicia's latest video, I tried to sign up with the website.   I went through the process of trying to validate my pay-pal account and received the following . . . .

The user name/email address has been registered.
Please choose a different one or find your login here.


I sent Humanatic a message using the email Alicia linked in her video.  I explained that I have never registered with Humanatic in the past and attempting to "find your login" does not work and it should not work under the circumstances. 

They responded with the following . . . .

We apologize for the inconvenience, but you will need to apply using a different email address. Thank you.


Very short and curt with no explanation as to what the problem is.  I'm using the email that is associated with my pay pal account and I don't know what else to do.  I posted here in hopes someone has had similar experience and knows how to resolve this issue.

You can add a second email address to your PayPal account. Is it possible you signed up for this sight long ago and forgot about it?

Thanks for your reply . . . I tried both emails that are attached to my paypal account and I still received the same message.  And to answer your question, I am absolutely sure I never signed up for Humanatic before, because I only heard of them after watching Alicia's video about it on Thursday.   

The thing that bugs me, is that Humanatic did not give any direction whatsoever in trying to figure out what the issue is.

I have been reading/hearing a lot of complaints about how troublesome it is to sign up with Humanatic. I really think they should fix their system soon, and their customer service/technical support isn't that reliable as well.

I registered there last Dec. 2013, but I found the work too time consuming and the rates not worth my time, so I didn't try to work there. It was an easy registration for me. I guess you should create a fresh, new email account and see what happens.

I first heard about this problem when I registered with Humanatic. I thought it was just a temporary technical glitch because I was able to log in without any problem whatsoever! It's disappointing that it's still going on, and if they don't fix it, they will lose potential members because some people just don't have the patience. Is there a way you can contact admin directly, maybe they can sort it out quickly for you? I hope you get it sorted.

I thought I was contacting admin directly when I sent the email.  I really don't know what the problem is, but I guess if they can't or won't shed any light, then I will have to move on.

I have just added a different e-mail to my Paypal account.  Hopefully this will get me hired on with this company.  The last time I applied I think it was a conflict of interest when you submit your job description and your work background.

I have attempted to sign up with Humanatic in the past. The sign up process was quite easy save for the fact that they requested for a verified email address. I possess a debit card from one of the major banks in my country. When I went to sign up, there is this error message that says that I try another debit card. Otherwise, the site is quite recommendable when you take into account that a verified email address means safety to your account when you take into account that the internet is full of bugs and hackers.

So this is like an online QA site, right? Freelancers are tasked to listen to calls and check them for quality or provide reviews. It's actually worth discovering. I haven't been there but when it comes to freelance gigs, you can't leave any stone unturned.

I saw this thread and I decided to give it a try.  I tried to sign up, and nada.  I put in my email address.  I put in a password.  I clicked the sign up button.  Nothing happened.  Not a loading screen, not even an error message- nothing.  Is this a problem with my computer being too slow, or is the site having issues?  I might also try with a different web browser because some sites don't work with Google Chrome for whatever reason.  Has anyone else had problems like these right from the start?
