And the monies made are simply made through the site or are they partly down to referrals? To be honest, I do tend to struggle with these types of sites and have tended to avoid them. That's not to say I won't give it a try if I've got a bit of time on my hands. But it's not going to be top of my list.

Well, with referrals you earn a commission off of what they make. In total I've only made $7.70 off of commissions, but then again, none of the people I've referred to the site have been particularly active & I only have 4 in total that are active at all. Here's a look at the break down of my earnings to see the areas I've had the most success with!

Obviously based on that I've earned the most in offers. The only offers I do are click offers, free sign up offers (I stay away from trials because I'm scared of getting stuck in paying for one), and the biggest one - surveys. I've done 200 surveys, and if I calculated everything right, that means I earned an average of about $1.60 per survey I took. Tasks I've done more of for less pay, but they're also quicker; I only do tasks that take less than two minutes unless it is a high paying one.

Hope this helps! :)

I think the minimum to cash out is quite bigger compared with other PTC sites. I had used clixsense but it takes time to make money despite all the other offers they provide. I now use one other bux site that seems to be a bit easier to accumulate points. I would not want to get rid of PTC  yet because I can squeeze them in between the boring time

Interesting, I've always found it easy to get to the minimum cash out on ClixSense within a day or two. It is only $8, and making at least $5 in a day on there is pretty simple in my opinion, and even more if there's a good amount of survey offers & high paying tasks. Today I was pretty busy & only got around to taking two surveys, but I still managed to get $1.73 plus a $0.12 bonus for completing the daily task list. I'm wondering if part of the reason people have had trouble earning even if they do try the tasks & offers might have to do with location? I've seen a lot of people on the forum for the site from various places that have made good earnings, but my boyfriend who is in Germany was unable to complete anything while I in Canada have a lot of luck qualifying for and completing things.

By the other bux site, do you mean NeoBux? I see that one advertised on ClixSense a lot, and while I've tried it out before I found that the offer walls they had were pretty much the exact same as ClixSense, and because you can't do them twice there was no point in trying two at once. :P I think it is important to just find the one that works best for you. ClixSense has been the site for me, NeoBux has worked for others, and there's a multitude of other ones out there that people have as their favorite, that they've had good success with.

@ niightwind, Thanks for the update. I haven't visited the site in years. I'm not from the US though, so I don't think I will have much luck with surveys. Maybe doing tasks is better.

I don't get surveys I can complete. Its a shame. Also the tasks are from crowdflower, is that right? I haven't seen any I could do either. I can only play the grid game and view ads, which is terrible, wage-wise.

I don`t use ClixSense myself, because they do not let you have rented referrals. You cannot really make any money with PTC sites like these, without referrals, and getting real, direct referrals can be really hard. A site that does not let you rent referrals, is usually a waste of time in my opinion.

I'm not sure that renting referrals is worthwhile. I'm experimenting with that at Neobux and most of my referrals are losing money. It might be different with gold membership, but I'm not prepared to risk investing my own money on that.

I've heard that a lot of people always prefer this site as their primary PTC income, but it's just not working out for me. A lot of people said that the surveys are where the profit is made. I've tried them but most of the time I got screened out too early because I didn't qualify for their surveys. So it took me forever to reach the minimum payout. This site can benefit you quite decently if the surveys are nice to you, but if it's not, then it's just not worth the time.

I am a member of Clixsense and I like it. I do it when I am sitting watching TV or something when I am not doing anything else. I have not cashed out yet but I am getting there. It is not going to make you rich but every penny helps. I will use it until something more lucrative comes along.

I like Clixsense, so far it's been a good earning site but I don't get as many surveys as the people from US and Canada do. I can't complain though, I've been completing 2 surveys daily on average, sometimes I can earn as much as 4$ per day but during the weekends I usually earn just a few pennies from the clicks because there are no surveys available. I've recently got a new active referral and I was wondering if I should buy the premium membership, I have 30$ on my balance so I wouldn't have to invest money out of my pocket, I could buy the membership and still cash out 13$. I think I'll go for it!

I registered on this site quite a long time ago but it didn't really go well. The main work was the ads and I don't even remember getting any surveys (I guess it's because I'm outside the US). So, I just abandoned it. But reading all these good reviews maybe I should give it another try. Maybe it'll work out.

I've purchased the premium membership on April 27 and I couldn't be happier with it. I've already got the money back, with the extra income from the daily checklist bonus and the extra ads. I've even finally managed to get my third badge on Crowdflower, so when there aren't surveys available, I do the minimum amount of tasks required to get the daily bonus. As a big plus, now that I'm a premium member, the Clixgrid ads last only 5 seconds, so I'm saving a lot of time.  I've just requested a 41$ cashout. :)

I do use Clixsense but stick to the surveys and ads. I prefer to complete Crowdflower tasks through Neobux as the pay is a little better. I've never really attempted to make money through referrals with these sites either.

Both sites do offer the usual PTC offer walls so they are well worth investigating, even if CF tasks aren't your thing.

I use ClixSense but don't have that much luck with it as you  have. I usually reach minimum in a few days since I found it faster to do on my phone. I never really had a lot of luck with the surveys but I may need to give them another look. I only have 1 referral and they are not active at all. I never really did the microjobs since I do not really like crowdflower. I never have any jobs on there or the ones that I do I do not get credited for them. Thanks for sharing your payment proof and glad that you can make this much money. I would love to be making $35 a week there.
