I got Amazon Prime a few years ago when I was shopping late for Christmas presents. It turned out that paying express shipping was going to cost roughly the same as signing up for Prime so I went ahead and did it. That was a few years ago and I can't imagine living without it now! I do so much shopping on Amazon and it is so convenient, I love it. Right now money is tight and I'm not sure if I will be able to keep the service next year, and I'm really not sure what I'll do without it. I may try a month or two without and see how I do, but there are a lot of perks to Prime membership that I really enjoy.

I had it when I was back home in the US. I took advantage of the free two-day shipping quite often! I'm the kind of person who gets in the mood to read a book, and I want it asap, so I used it often. I'm currently living abroad in Taiwan, so I can't use it.

I had to Prime account for about a year and just never ended up renewing my subscription because I did not use it very much and could not justify the $75 per year. I usually order on Amazon during the holidays and they offer free shipping anyway, and I am not a bigger streamer of movies and such.

I love Amazon prime. It is a great deal. You have to pay the whole $99, or $79 if you caught the promo, up front. When you think about it. It is worth it for the TV alone. Then you get free shipping, which is fantastic. I ordered bunk beds that were $15 less on Amazon than they were at Walmart. I got free shipping, and it made it worth it. I bought two sets, so the total saving was $30 on that purchase. I then ordered comforters and sheets, and got free shipping. I saved another $20 there. Total, I saved $50 bucks. I was able to use that money for two weeks worth of gas. If you have netflix or hulu, an multiply it out, you realize that the TV alone is a good deal. But to be able to shop without shipping is where you start making out like a bandit. I wish they would let you pay every 6 months though!

I don't shop enough to make it worth it right now. I might consider signing up for Amazon Prime when I finally break down and cut the cable cord, though, although it will probably be a while before I do that. I do like the idea of free or low cost shipping, but coming up with a chunk of money is difficult right now.

I'm not a huge fan of shopping in stores but when I do, I typically find that the amazon price (without shipping) is cheaper. Without even considering how much I'm saving by having free two day shipping, I save more per year by being able to get stuff that I need quickly from amazon than I spend on the prime membership. Everything from my dog's food to my preferred menstrual products are cheaper on amazon.  Once you add in the free two-day shipping (or low cost one-day shipping), free digital content not available on netflix, and the lending library for books, I consider the prime membership fee to be will worth it.

I don't order often enough for it to be a good deal for me. I'll admit, I've been tempted to sign up because I wanted my order to get to me immediately, but I always come back to my senses and do the free shipping thing and just wait the extra days for my stuff.

I have Amazon Prime and I mainly use their free 2 day shipping method. It is worth it and you can save a ton of money on it yearly over coming the 99$ yearly fee.

Yes, I do have Amazon Prime. It's a fantastic little service. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the fact that the entire year's worth of the subscription comes out of your account at once. Think it makes more sense to do it on a month by month basis. But, it's more than worth what you pay for it. I believe it's less than $100 per year. The Prime Video has some pretty good selections, though not quite as good as Netflix. The main perk of Amazon Prime is the free 2 day shipping. I use it a lot and am a huge fan of it.

I was offered a free Amazon Prime trial while checking out last month.I signed up  and was supposed to be on the trial for 30 days but a week and a half later I get email saying they can't charged my credit card. I really didn't like the sneaky way they tried to charge my card. Glad I used a credit card  with little money it on it. I will say that the shipping is excellent but the videos really suck. They were buffering every couple of minutes and I had a sound issue that Amazon didn't know how to fix. I don't think its worth it to me.

We decided to purchase it when it went on a pretty huge sale for awhile (I think we got in at $60). So far we have only used it for Video and Music. I love both of those but if we don't end up ordering from it, I don't think it's worth the cost. I am considering beginning to get a lot of our household goods from there though so that would potentially make it worthwhile versus a Costco or Sam's membership and having to drive there, haul in my daughter, fight the crowd and end up buying things I don't need.

I love Amazon Prime. It pays for itself. I rarely order something where the free shipping does not apply. And my item gets here fast. I allow my son to use it too and so he gets the same kind of savings. Amazon Prime is a good deal.

I would certainly use it if I lived in the US, but because I'm all the way here in Botswana where most Amazon sellers won't ship, I reckon it would be a huge waste for me. It sounds like the sort of thing I would put to good use because before I moved here, I used to do a lot of online shopping, both on Amazon and eBay. I can only hope that they expand it across the world one day. Maybe not the next day delivery, but for other things. Maybe they could tailor make it to different parts of the world LOL

We have amazon prime though my husbands student account, which is half price, I really do not order a lot off amazon but I love the prime video.  We have it on all our tv's and I enjoy, as far as shipping goes it is nice to not have to pay for it but like I said I do not buy a whole lot from amazon.

I've heard of Prime's pros and also about the cons, and it definitely sounds as something that would be worth the risk. I've not gotten one becuase I do notreally buy too much from Amazin, otherwise, I definitely would.
