Qmee, for those who don't like Bing / Bing Rewards
« on: September 28, 2015, 05:27:21 PM »
Qmee is a rewards program that pays for clicks on links supplied when doing some Google searches. It pays via PayPal. I haven't cashed out yet, but from what I understand, there isn't a required minimum to cash out. I have seen payment proof from someone I trust, so I think this is a good opportunity. I thought we'd discussed Qmee here before, but I did a search before creating this thread, and didn't find anything.

@DianeLane

Diane, do you know what the difference in the pay/rewards is between Qmee and Bing Rewards? I do the Big Rewards everyday, and you can earn 25 points per day (plus 1-6 extra points on a random basis). Bing Rewards takes me about 3 minutes a day to get my daily points. When you get 500 points, you can trade those in for gift cards from Amazon, Applebees, Game Stop, etc. At 25 pts a day, it really doesn't take long to get to 500.

Does Qmee pay money (like through PayPal)? How much do they pay, or how easy/difficult is it to build up to a worthwhile cash-out?

Thank you for the information! I'm curious how you like it? How long has your friend used them?  :)

Qmee is available in the UK too and I use it myself. They do pay out and they are quite quick about it too. The program is very unobtrusive and whilst it won't make you rich, it provides a few dollars here and there for virtually nothing. Well worth trying.

Hi @Short.cake I don't use Bing Rewards, so I can't speak to the differences between the two. I also haven't been using Qmee for long, and don't use it on a regular basis (I don't actively do frequent searches for the purpose of making money), so I can't speak to how often links come up. It seems fairly random to me. Sometimes I'll do searches and nothing comes up, other times I'll happen to do a quick search for something I need or want, and up pops a link or two (or five), and when I click and look around for a few minutes, I'll get the stated amount of money added to my bank. As I mentioned, it does pay in PayPal, which was what attracted me, since I prefer that over any payment method.

I know several others who post here use it (I see @missbishi has already posted), and they might have more information. I just sits on my browser until I use a query that matches what it's looking for, and doesn't interrupt my work with a huge pop-up or other annoyance, so I like it.  I don't plan to cash out until I have more in my bank, which could take a while, but I'll try to remember to come back and fill in some blanks when I have done so, and know more.

I have heard of both rewards programs, Bing and Qmee, but honestly I prefer money that stuff even if eventually I have to buy stuff, what means that you might try both as long as Bing terms of service allow it.

I'm not sure either about how Bing Rewards work, but I know Qmee pays via Paypal and it's not too demanding or intrusive like others.

How much it takes to complete your tasks? Qmee suggests to use in the same way you use your regular activity, whenever it's necessary browse for something, and being honest about clicking on whatever drives your attention to get a click for further information.

I used both websites, and have cashed out on both. Bing Rewards for Amazon gift card and Qmee for cash to my PayPal. I cashed out at $2.73 on Qmee and I did nothing special and do the search intentionally. While using Bing Rewards for searches, Qmee popped up and I just click on that to collect the pennies.

QM uses Google, Bing, Amazon, eBay searches...

I have already heard of Qmee before, but I haven't really tried it yet. I wonder if it's also available to Asian countries. I would definitely give it a shot one of these days. I need more money for Christmas and I am looking for new online opportunities that would be profitable for me.

I haven't tried bing rewards but I'm not fond of using bing for searching so I probably won't. I do use qmee. I have it installed on all of my computers and have cashed out several times. It does pay to paypal AND there's no minimum cashout amount.

I haven't cashed out yet, but the big draws for me were that they pay via PayPal, and that there's no minimum cashout. Sometimes I'll be wanting to pay a small bill with my PayPal balance, but am a few dollars short. If I have something like Qmee or postloop available to cash out, I can knock out the bill and go on my merry way, without having to worry about driving to the bank to deposit money, or taking the bill to wherever it is able to be paid. Sometimes I'll just get the urge to buy something really small on eBay and I'll use my little balances for that, too. It's amazing what you can buy online for a few dollars, and so these types of earnings really do come in handy. I'm sitting on $2.46 in my Qmee account right now, and am building up my postloop and User Testing so I can combine them all for one medium sized bill in a few weeks.

At this point, I am using both Bing rewards and Qmee. I have to say I prefer Bing rewards, because it adds up quickly. I have already cashed out with a giftcard and I haven't been doing it that long. I still only have like 46 cents in my Qmee piggybank so it is one of the things that I am not too excited about.

I hear loads of great things about Qmee. I sure wish I would open up to Canadian residents though. I feel like I have been waiting forever for it too. I hope others are having good success with it.

@Kgord So you've found that you make more money more quickly using Bing Rewards? I still haven't signed up for them, but since you seem to be doing well, and I've heard from others who are also happy with them, it might be worth it. I've noticed some of the Amazon shipping prices seem to have come down, so that would help extend the gift certificates.

I have a Qmee account and I personally have a love hate relationship with it. I like that you can cash out even at one penny and it goes to your paypal account within a minute. The down side is that it is hard to search for what you get the money for. I have only made fifty since from Qmee within two weeks. I'm honestly thinking about deleting it.

I had a thorough look at Qmee. Unfortunately, Qmee doesn't offer search rewards for patrons in Australia. Next time.

Do you have to install anything to your browser? I hope you don't need to install plug ins or something. That just feels like you are selling your privacy. At least Bing just pays you for clicks and it isn't that obtrusive. I love how I earn at least one gift card a month there. Bing is very cool.
