Cashing Out at MTurk
« on: October 15, 2015, 06:05:39 PM »
To make a transfer to your bank account you have to have at least $1 in your Amazon payments account, but how often do you transfer your earnings from MTURK to Amazon Payments? I prefer to do  it at the end of everyday and then I will let the money build in my Amazon Payments account until I decide what to do with it.

I usually let it sit in mTurk until it gets to $10.00 and then I will transfer it to Amazon Payments. One time I let it ride until it was at $25.00 and then transferred. I always then transfer to my bank account.

I have never had it transferred into an Amazon gift card. I may do that when it gets closer Christmas since I usually do buy some gifts from Amazon.

It depends on my current bill situation. If I need the money, then I'll switch it over to A. Payments and then over to my bank account. Otherwise, I'm fine with letting it sit in Mturk because I work exclusively with one requester, and I have no fears of getting banned with that requester on the platform.

I'm most likely to cash it to an Amazon gift card because it is the simplest way for me. There is a lot of regular monthly stuff I buy that is easier to get on Amazon than anywhere else so it makes sense to me to do this way. Basically it pays for my coffee, cat food, and cat litter, all heavy stuff I'd rather have delivered than buy at the store and this is an easy convenient way for me to get it.

It seems like people are making some decent money at mturk. I tried this a few times, but didn't really think it was my cup of tea. I guess maybe I should try it again. I know I was paid at least once for mturk, but I think I spent more time on it than the payment was worth, but I guess if you get really good at the tasks, you can make money quickly.

I am so glad that I found this! I have been having problems understanding how to cash out.  Also how much do you guys usually make a month on Amazon Turk?
