Bing.com offers rewards just for searching. You earn points which you can use to get may different types of gift cards. I suggest signing up and get earning points now!

I haven't heard of this! How long does it take to make enough points to earn a gift card? I usually use Google, but I'd definitely give Bing a try if it would be worth my time.

When you start off you can do searches to earn 15 points per day. The gift cards are normally 500 points. You will get 50 bonus points after you reach Silver Status which is 200 points. When you reach Gold status which is after you have earned 750 points you get a 10% discount on all purchases.

So in the end after 30 days of searching you should have over enough points for a $5 gift card. $5 extra a month is not bad for no investment.

Yeah, this is a good method. What I like to do is set Bing to my default Search engine for like half an hour in the day and then set it back. Requires no active effort. :)

What is the difference between Bing, Google and Yahoo though?

How are they different as search engines in general? Most people prefer to use google. Do they offer better search results or something?  ???

It's an interesting method but when I do search rewards I prefer Swagbucks just because they have so many more options of what you can choose to be paid out with. I looked at the Bing Rewards and realized that even if I did get the points their was nothing their that I would be interested in spending them on. However, that is just me. Has anyone actually used this - is their any way to get paid out in Paypal.

While it's true that Bing does pay you for searching, I feel I should give out a warning, as well as a few tips. You have to confirm your reward with a text message now, so it'd be recommended that you only have one account (or more if you have extra, active phones). In terms of getting the points, I bookmarked 30 different searches on Bing. From there, I'd just open them all up, and basically be done. Lastly, downloading the Bing app is a lot more effective than using the mobile site. Hope that helps at least some of you guys out!

I tried clicking your link, but it says that it's not available in my region. So I guess that they only accept members from the US? Or maybe they also accept members from the UK and Canada? After all, those are the usual countries that are targeted.

It does seem to be only available to US based Bing users. I live in the UK and I see no paid search or Bing rewards option when I visit Bing.

If the rewards are in the form of gift cards, those may not be of any use to people in other countries. Also the money Bing makes to reward users may only come from American advertisers or advertisers who only want to attract American users.

I personally am not to big of a fan of Bing Search Rewards. They seem like a good reward system from a good company, however I have a single problem with the reward system and that is I don't like any of the rewards. If they paid out with Paypal I personally would use them. However, because they don't if I were to use a paid to search website I would use Swagbucks instead.

I also tried joining Bing Rewards in the past but it wasn't available for me because I was not from the US.

It's ashamed because there are lot of good sites that are paying out there but are not available for everyone.

If you can't join Bing Rewards then you guys should try SwagBucks if a task like this interest you.

I seriously feel like using Bing for a month is far worse than losing $5. Google is efficient and almost always gets me what I want. I'm willing to trade time for money, but not efficiency.

i tried signing up to Bing Rewards. Unfortunately, it wasn't available in my country.

It's interesting to know that you can earn money just from searching. I would definitely look out for similar opportunities.

I absolutely LOVE Bing Rewards.  I was a Yahoo person.  My partner told me a while ago about Bing Rewards but I didn't see how it would benefit me really.  I thought I'd do it if they paid in PayPal too.  Fast forward through my pregnancy and 1 year celebration and I thought wait...Toys R Us.  I reached gold almost immediately.  LOLOL ;D

With my gift cards and my partner's gift cards plus Toys R Us color sales, we have been there a quite a few times with toys for our king and only paying at most $5 out of pocket.  I'm a stay-at-home-mom.  Sometimes I feel bad I don't have my own money to buy my king things he doesn't really need (you know, FUN things to buy for your kids). Bing Rewards makes me feel better about that.  :D
