Perk's Redemption/Cash Out Waiting Period
« on: November 16, 2015, 10:36:03 AM »
After building up my points for quite some time, I think I am finally ready to redeem them.  Since this will be my first request for payout, I am definitely excited to say the least.  Iím am, however, inquiring about the payout process.  I plan on requesting cash via PayPal, and I am curious of how smooth or rough the transaction is.  Iíve read elsewhere how the process is implemented, but I am wondering, for those who have requested and received rewards from Perk, how the experience was for you.  Did your payment arrive on time?  If it didnít, how much time passed before you received it?

I have just passed my year anniversary with Perk. I have made at least $2500 with them. They are by far, the best moneymaking app out there. I would suggest not using Paypal though. It is like 40% of your money to cash out that way. The vast bulk of the time I have used them, I went with Walmart cards. What can't you buy at Walmart or their website? More recently I got their Plastik card. It takes about 2 weeks to get it, and the money transfer is instant, and only 10% of your money is taken (ie: $10 costs you about $1).The card can be used anywhere, and can be used for bills too!

I was wondering that too as I am getting close to being able to get an Amazon card. How soon do those cards come? I saw a 100 dollar Walmart card on there...that would be great to have. Primal Claws, you should do a blog or an eBook on how you make so much money with Perk...lots of people would like to know...I would be thriled just to make an extra 100 bucks a month with it.

I just couldn't make a go with Perk, but wow..you're good and congratulations to you. I also agree with Kgord about you writing a blog post or something to show us how to make money with this app.

For me, the earnings were just too little and it takes forever to see anything adds up.

I have run into a problem with Perk. I was ready to cash out for an Amazon card, and they sent me the verfication text then, further along in the process I got the message my phone number was invalid..huh?? So tI wrote to them they said to relaunch the app...I am not really sure what that means..if I reinstall..I would lose my points..so the saga continues.

I don't know why you think you will lose your points. Just sign back into the app after you reinstall. I regularly reinstall Perk apps just to make them run better. It is a little bit of a pain, but the points will still be there.

I have cashed out several times with Perk and have not had to wait long maybe 24 hours. I got the Perk Plastic and I can get my money the same day as I request it. I did this yesterday and got them almost instantly. I love Perk. Cannot say enough good things about them. I have several of their apps and use their search engine to get more points and tokens as I surf the web.

I just signed up for Perk last week and I am really excited to be using it. I've had a pretty easy time earning gift cards with the SwagbucksTV app on my phone so I figure I can also run the Perk app while I'm home and get more. I think these kinds of sites are so fun, I don't know why I never heard of Perk until recently but I'm glad to hear you guys have had some success there.

I have never heard of this rewards site.  Seems like it works like Swag bucks and Inbox dollars.  I have made quite a few dollars with both of these sites.  I would like to try any others that have been successful for others users.  I purchase many things on the internet so this would be a good thing for me to get into...so I can make money when I spend money.

i did eventually receive some cash via perk. It didn't take that long, probably a week or less. I think the Perk Plastic is probably the easiest thing to do in terms of redemptions because it just doesn't take that long. i think it might be almost instanteous, so what could be better than that?

To update this thread I go back and forth between Pop Quiz and TV. Right now I am back on Pop Quiz. I cash out to my Plastik about once a week, with about $50 most times. I am losing about $5 doing it that way, each time, but it's easier than running into Walmart all the time and then I can only use it there.

I have never tried cashing out from Perk. To be specific, I'm using the Perk Pop Quiz app. I only have 8,000 points right now and I'm waiting for the points to be abut higher before cashing out. Do you guys recommend that or should I cash out as early as possible? Do I risk losing the points by keeping them? Lol. Sorry for the word questions, I'm new to Perk, haha!

Anyway, I cannot seem to earn that many points because:

1. I'm not from the US.

2. I only have one tablet. I tried to use my iPhone but it has crashed and died so many times because of Perk. Right now, it's stable since I'm not running Perk on it.

I'm thinking about buying two lower end gadgets to run Perk. Do you recommend it? Or is Perk a waste of time now? Thanks for any inputs.

I definitely think Perk is worth it. Now they have taken over Viggle and you can make tons of perk points watching TV and doing the live trivia. I have not done this much but my sister does. I just let my old phone and a couple of tablets run with perk all day. Sometimes, I will get my kids to do the Pop Quiz and they like doing that. I do not make as much as @Primalclaws but it is better than nothing.

Right now, all I'm doing is Perk Scratch & Win. So far, I haven't won anything. I use my points to enter contests. It doesn't seem they have that many worthwhile options for Spending Tokens, though, so I'm holding onto some of those for now, rather than using them all to enter for small gift cards. Has anyone used the Bid & Win process? I haven't tried that yet, because I don't understand what the King of the Hill option is, versus One Up.
