I have seen this a few times before. Definite scam. Once, I did it just to see because it only took a few minutes a day. Made the request once I was at the cashout threshold but no payout, even weeks later. Pure scam to get you to view the ads on the site.

Yeah, this definitely sounds like a scam site. The payout is way too high, and this is the first time I hear of a site that pays users to read articles/headlines. I would never expect such a site to pay it's users. It's terrible what some unscrupulous website owners are getting away with nowadays.

If you stand for nothing, you can fall for anything. When it comes to online work, I suppose that when it comes to online work, you have to put in an appreciable effort to earn a reasonable amount, there is no free lunch. Some sites do pay generously but this is also proportional to the amount of work put in. I would consider a cashout minimum of $2300 astronomical and somewhat bizarre. There is always a sixth sense or hindsight that alerts me of such scams. I was once bitten and therefore twice shy.

New-Unite is a new term for me so thank you for sharing about your experience with it OP. I'm just amazed at how patient you were in trying to see if the site was a scam. Basing on the information that they pay $5 for every article read and they have a minimum threshold of $2300 already gives me the idea that the site is indeed not worth trusting. I now have this attitude of doubt whenever I see that a site offers quiet a big amount for simple tasks because basing on my experiences so far, most legit sites only offer cents for tasks they offer to their members.
