Ever since I started online work, I've heard nothing but horror stories about doing captcha work, now I know why! This just wouldn't work for me at all. I mean, 1 000 captchas for $0.45 is beyond a joke. Yet any mistakes you make and you're out?! There's such a thing as human error, and let's be honest, there's the likelihood that out of every lot of a 1 000 captchas, you will make a mistake. So I would never touch any of it with a barge pole. It must also be very, very BORING

Yeah, I agree, the pay ratio is not reasonable. Even from a newbie like me, it's a no no. Not only that, some captchas can be really really hard to solve and you can get banned if you solve them wrong? That's unacceptable. If they increase the pay ratio by 3-4x then I could probably consider this.

I would also agree that the pay is too low even for newbies! I mean, .45 cents to a dollar for 1,000 captchas solved? That's worse than slave labour, at least for me. Add to that, not all captchas are easy to solve. I usually solve captchas after a few seconds just because most of the time, the writing isn't that clear and visible. And if you need to solve the captcha that quickly, you better have the eyes of a mutant. Lol.

Plus, it seems like a lot of the captcha sites are too shady. I wouldn't want a site that wouldn't think twice about banning me for just a few mistakes. I don't mind the repetitiveness of the work if only it pays right and don't have such too strict rules though.

Captcha solving jobs are horrible! I've tried several sites but always quit after a couple of hours because it takes forever to start gaining. 1000 solved captchas can take weeks if you're not that fast and it gets just so frustrated. I'll never go down that road again, I promised that to myself.

There's no way I'm going to waste my time solving 1000 captchas for only 0,45$, it's insane! I hate captchas and I often get them right only after a few tries, especially if they are blurred or too small.  I heard that you have to solve them in a few seconds time frame and I wouldn't be able to do that. It sounds like a boring and mindless job, I think I'd go crazy after solving 5 of them. Besides, what do they need those captchas for? It sounds fishy if you ask me!

That sounds like far too much work for so little money. If I'm not mistaken it's less per captcha than one can get paid per ad clicked on at PTC sites, and I vowed to stay away from those after realising how much of my time clicking on those ads was actually taking.

One thing that's always confused my about this job is the talk about helping scammers by solving the captchas. I've can't see the purpose of this job at all as the sites apparently already know the answers. If that wasn't the case then how would they know when to penalize members for giving wrong answers?

I once tried solving captchas and just gave up. That work is really tedious and if you don't have a good and fast internet connection you wont't even type five hundred words in an hour.

The sites are also strict, if you do several mistakes you are likely to be penalized or your account closed.

I don't think I would be able to do all of those captchas and it should be illegal to expect people to do that many for so little pay. It is literally e-slave labor and I wish that this was an issue that the government would step in on instead of cracking down on people who burn DVDs and pirate music.

I've never even heard about such jobs! Definitely sounds like not something worth of my time. I mean the pay is really low and these captchas...sometimes I can't even solve the ones I need myself. I believe your eyes will be sore after this!

I have done some gigs like this before but they were all on Amazon Mturk and they paid like 5 cent per captcha. I haven't seen any jobs like that on there in awhile though.

Maybe if I type 70 WPM I might reconsider but on the second thought I pity my little dainty fingers  :-* Speaking of captcha, I could use my time visiting some bitcoin faucets they do have captchas to solve but I get bored easily.

Yeah, most likely even faucet sites would pay better than this. This is most likely a scam, I would not waste my time with it.

Like most of you, I honestly would not waste my time and effort solving 1,000 captcha for $1, ethical or not. Come on, there's Spare5, Usability Hub, Post Loop - these are all legit earning sites that requires talent. Now, in my lazy moments (or while watching TV), I can do Ayuwage, Clixsense, and RainofClicks. But to focus on the screen just to solve captchas, that's really stressful and even more stressful is the fact that I stand to earn .40 to $1 from my efforts and eye strain.
