Littlebux shuts down
« on: April 19, 2016, 04:45:44 AM »
Do any of you use Littlebux? They're basically a PTC site, but to me they're a bit better than others in terms of their rate.

Yesterday the site closed down after PayPal apparently closed their account. They've already had problems with PayPal in the past, so that's why they've been using Payza as the only method for payments. So after weeks of negotiations with PayPal, PayPal has decided to close their account. This is the only detail I know as to why they closed their site. I'm quite sad since I've been accumulating quite a number of referrals on that site. It's the only PTC site I've used in the last month or so. So with this I guess I won't be using any PTC site anytime soon.

PTC sites, and in particular 'bux' sites are never reliable. Yeah, if PayPal decides to shut down their account, it's usually over for them. PayPal don't get along with 'bux' sites because they have games of chance there, and therefore, PayPal considers them gambling sites. Most people use PayPal as their only payment processor, and they simply won't join a site which don't have access to it.

This is quite sad. I suppose Paypal is a little bit too stringent. I have used it before on other sites like Probux which also went under. The slightest suspicion sends a red alert at Paypal and one should be careful with their accounts. I suppose most bux sites are passing clouds unless they are based on a sustainable model. For instance, the ad clicks should be based on Facebook likes or something of that sort which has been paid for. Most rely on advertisements and when these begin to dry up, they begin to craft an exit strategy hence Paypal's cautiousness since they want to deal with credible actors devoid of the scent of sleaze or is it?
