I've just applied to work for Leapforce!
« on: May 03, 2016, 05:45:26 PM »
I've just applied to work for Leapforce and I've sent my resume. Now I'm waiting to hear back. After reading the posts on this forum, I'm not so sure about it though. It sounds like a great possibility to earn an extra income but at the same time, I've read many negative feedback on their behaviour. I understand that I have to take three tests to get in but I've read that they don't give you any feedback on your work and if you fail the test, they won't even tell you what you did wrong. How can I score better if they won't tell me the mistakes I make?
people all over the internet seem happy to work for them, but I've read different opinions about the test, some people think it's not so bad, some other think it's hard. Is it really that hard?

A little update for those  who wants to apply. I received the exam and I had a week to read the guidelines (about 150 pages) and take the exam. I passed the first and second tests but I failed the third one. I  noticed there was a little "comment" box only when I was halfway through the test.  I'm pretty sure I did a good job but I've read that the comments are mandatory, so I hope I failed for that reason.
I was given a second chance to take the exam, and I've just passed the first part.
A little word of advice, don't wait until the last minute to start the exam, the third test is really time consuming. The first time around, I waited until the last two days to start the exam and that was a mistake. This time, I started as soon as I received the email, so now I'll have 6 more days to finish it.

This is very good advice. I hope you get on with them. I applied to this ages ago and failed the 3rd part of the exam... I never tried again but like you I waited last minute. Its been over  a year since I applied so I could try again I suppose and see what comes of it.

I hope I will pass the exam too. I'm a bit worried because I've read that a guy has passed the exam but received the "Congratulations but no thanks" message. Basically they told him that he had passed the exam but there wasn't work available at the moment and they would keep his data for the future. I think it's really unfair, because if you know that there isn't work, there's no point in making people go through that exausting and demanding exam. I'll try anyway, let's hope I'll get in, I'd really love the extra money.
You could apply again I think, and since you already know how the exam is structured, it will be easier to do it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us! :)

Did you pass?

I definitely suggest reading the guidelines as soon as you get them and use them while you are taking the test. I passed the first two exams. I wasn't going to take it again because I didn't think I would like the work but I tried again anyway and I got the same results. I'm still not sure what I did wrong on the last section but I'm not upset about because I really don't think I would have liked doing the work.

This is a homebased agent job. I have no experience with voice accounts but as a chat agent, I may be able to do something about it. I hope they're looking for one, though.

It's the first time I am hearing about this, but if we have to send a resume it has to be something more serious. I am taking a peek, thanks for sharing.
