How Do You Feel About Opinion Outpost?
« on: May 22, 2014, 08:40:04 PM »
Opinion Outpost is a great survey site! I have already cashed out 300 points, which equals $30. I'm very excited for the $10,000 drawing! Does anyone else use the site?

I used to use Opinion Outpost last summer, and honestly, I loved it, I cashed over $200 from it in 1 month, but now I don't get any more good surveys and often get kicked out of a survey for not meeting the requirements after 5 or so minutes of taking the survey.  This is extremely infuriating so i no longer use, instead I use mturk as my primary money making site.

That's why I'm not a fan of those sites, you spend so much time qualifying for certain surveys and even answering something wrong late into can be the make or break of getting paid and to the end.

I can't imagine how long it took to get up to that amount, time-wise, spent on all the various surveys.  There are so many companies that are very sketchy as well although I have heard good things about this company and know it's legit from their experiences.

I can't say that I was ever a fan of opinion outpost to be honest with you guys. I was once desperate to earn money, and the only way that I was going to earn any was though online work. I tried Opinion Outpost amongst a whole range of other websites, some of which have worked out very nicely for me.

But Opinion Outpost is not one of them.  I would do about ten minutes of a survey and then they would boot me about, claiming that I did not meet their criteria. Waste of time. I hate when surveys do that. Luckily I found another way to make money online.

I think my biggest problem with Opinion Outpost, other than getting booted for every other survey, was that they would offer surveys for chances in sweepstakes and stuff rather than actual money. I still do them on occasion if it seems like a particularly good survey, but postloop and mturk are generally more reliable and efficient for me. Plus the redundancy of survey questions makes me want to lose my mind after so long.

Hi. I just joined PanelPlace a few days ago. I was attracted to the post that they'll pay for surveys. But as I looked at the different comments, I found out that there are cons like the long wait for the approval of cash outs. Another is about what you said about not meeting their criteria. do you have any information about websites that pay us for answering their surveys? I mean, those that do not have the cons that I wrote. Your response would be of great help. Thank you.

I'm from the Philippines, I earn some money doing micro jobs on a few sites. I tried registering for opinion outpost but apparently they don't have surveys for people from the Philippines, which I found disappointing. I haven't done any surveys on the site so I can't comment much on it. What I can say is that they have a prompt help desk at least.

Opinion Outpost is one of those survey sites that had impressive and positive feedbacks. I joined the site eagerly but for those living outside the United States like me, they don't have the same number of surveys to offer.

I found a website called iPoll. They also pay for panelists or those who take time to answer surveys. When you register, they'll immediately give you a bonus of $5.

I received 2 surveys worth about $3 and I'll answer them a few minutes from now.

I have not used Opinion Outpost as much as I have used SurveySpot, its sister company. I've noticed though that if I exhaust all the survey opportunities at SurveySpot then there will be none at Opinion Outpost or vice versa. I have tried to cash out with Opinion Outpost once but it "failed" and they are supposed to be looking into why.

SurveySpot, on the other hand, I have had absolutely no problems with. They pay within minutes of cashing out (at least after the initial redemption) and have excellent customer service. I have also been able to test a lot of products through them. Toothpaste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, cleaning products...and that's just been in the past 2 weeks! Also, I've been occasionally been invited to other survey sites through them AND focus groups. I love focus groups because all I have to do is talk about a certain topic for a set amount of time and then get paid for it...usually pretty well. I highly recommend SurveySpot and Opinion Outpost too...just make sure you actually receive your rewards!

I do not have any serious issues with Opinion Outpost, but after trying it out, it just seems like a waste of time for me. Mostly because I seem to not be qualified for any survey they suggest I take - which is fine in genera,l but gets to be really frustrating after awhile.

Like others have mentioned, I find that there are other ways to make money online that are more reliable and efficient!

I really wish I had a better experience with it, though - getting paid to take surveys? Seems like a good deal to me.

I, too, find Opinion Outpost to be time consuming and a waste of time for the most part.  I've also gotten booted out of a survey because an answer I gave disqualified me.  It sounds like a nice option for people that can actually get through the surveys though :)

I agree, I used them for a while but the frustrating part was I'd start to fill out a survey and a bunch of questions in I would get a message saying that my criteria has been filled or something along those lines.
I also would get into a survey that was 15 minutes long and it would be 30-40 minutes no matter how fast I answered.

I was with them and loved it although their survey time was larger than others.A pre-survey will let the system know what kind of surveys are appropriate for you. Then the actual survey.I have had some really bad times when i qualified to take the survey, but midway i would be thrown out because my answers were not in range of the pre survey questionnaire.
It's all luck and chance. You have to choose the right answers and those answers are hard to predict.I once cashed out a tenner, but after that i have never really been with them.i still get mails from them, but i don't find it so interesting nowadays.
