I have also been thrown out in the middle of a survey and there is really nothing more irritating. When that happens, I contact customer care and let them know that I completed over half the survey and feel that I deserve incentive. The associate can then double check on how much time I spent and will usually credit me at least a portion of the points. I have done this several times over the months on SurveySpot and a few times on Opinion Outpost.

Don't be afraid to speak up for your points if you feel that you spent a significant amount of time. If this was a job in the real world and you were not being paid, you demand that paycheck. Online work should be no different.

Trust me i really have never done this before.I thought these were all a waste of time. Are you telling me that they actually credit you with points for what you have done..?
Ok,assume this case, the survey states it is half an hour long and i get kicked out after 10 minutes..do i stand a chance..?
If so,i really am gonna write back to them.

I have never had any luck with Opinion Outpost. I am convinced I must be doing something wrong because I read mostly solid positive reviews about the site. Since I signed up a few months ago I have not qualified for one survey. I work on other survey sites and have some luck, I don't mind the nature of taking surveys so it's not like I am upset about being disqualified midway through or anything. I just don't understand why I am not qualifying for anything after a few months.

Well I agree, the site is pretty good when it comes to making money. But the problem is that their surveys are so freaking boring, you kind of have to lie a bit just to get through them faster. I often "Don't qualify" for a survey that made me spend ten minutes on the pre qualifying thing and it is very irritating. Been trying to figure out how to read some of these so I could qualify more often. I don't get the drawing they do as it seems like a one in a billion chance you could win that. Overall though, if you have the time it is one of the best survey sites there is.

I like Opinion Outpost quite a bit. They send me new surveys to do almost every day. I've even made enough to claim $15.00 today! It doesn't seem like much but it's a start right?  ;D As long as the surveys keep coming I'll keep answering!

I am still researching a lot of the leads I come across. So far, I have found that Opinion Outpost has actually been the best survey panel I have taken part in. I absolutely love this site, it really comes in handy when I need to make a little extra change for the week. I made $20 in a day and a half. As we all know, in surveyland that is great. :)

In addition to being able to rack in those points quickly, I am happy at the fact that it does not take so many points to cash out. I have taken part in redeeming points to get Amazon gift cards and PayPal cash.

With my experience, I have no complaints about Opinion Outpost. I am so glad I stumbled across this site. It is by far the best one yet. This is only my opinion. It works for me. :)

I have tried Opinion Outpost as well and wasn't really happy with it. I found myself being offered many surveys but would complete 80% of the actual survey and they would tell me I didn't qualify. Annoying since I just spent 15 minutes of my time only not to qualify. It was happening a lot too.

One day I spent almost 2 hours on surveys thinking I was at least getting a few points and nothing ! :(
Just not worth the waste of time for me...

I signed up for this site a few months ago, but was not impressed with the lack of surveys I qualified for.  It seemed stupid to spend time qualifying for 15 minutes, only to find out that I did not meet the criteria.  There are a couple other survey sites I use that make it much more worth my time.  Peanut Labs is a good one because you either know if you qualify or not with only a couple of questions answered.

I used Opinion Outpost for a while. It is legit. I just stopped using it because I would take pre-qualification surveys and end up not qualifying for the actual paid survey. I may sign back up and give 'em another try. ;)

I tried it years ago and only successfully completed one survey.  It was one of the many big waste of time sites I tried.  I don't understand how they manage to keep people when they kick you out after you have done so much work.  It is one thing that really makes me angry so I quit.

I like opinion outpost because it is legit, and I just received my first payment from them. The only thing is, it's hard to qualify for the surveys that offer higher points.

$10,000 drawing is really a lot! Good luck. :)
I have used the site and answered some but never reached the minimum payout since I have not received any survey again from them. Or if ever there is an available one, it will not qualify me after answering some of the questions which is really annoying.

Opinion Outpost is the best survey site I have found on the internet. Most survey sites give you invitations, which means you can never truly work whenever you want. Opinion Outpost doesn't do that. You can log in whenever and there are a number of surveys to fill out 98% of the time. Most of them pay pretty decently too, about 2 to 3 dollars per survey. You get paid in points, but you can trade them in for real cash via pay pal.

Here are some negative things about the site. It used to be 10 points, about one survey, to be able to cash out. Now the cash out limit is 100 points, about 10 surveys. Another thing I don't like about it, is they will boot you off a survey right in the middle of completion, with no reason given. You also have to fill out a questionnaire  before each survey which is not paid. But if you're persistent and don't give up after one disqualification or unpaid questionnaire, you really can make about 10 dollars a day on it.

Another cool thing about it I forgot to mention, is if you do get booted off a survey, you get a chance to win some points by playing some reward games that they offer. I've done these a couple times and have won 5 to 10 dollars for literally doing nothing. Not bad. Now is this site still worth your time? Probably not, but it is definitely the best survey site that you will find online.

I used to love Opinion Outpost when I was studying in England. The UK version of the site was fantastic. I would get paid .05 pence per point (as opposed to USD, so at the time the .05 pence was worth about .08 cents in USD.) And qualifying was easy and I was often able to make a few pounds a day, adding up to anywhere from 10-50 pounds a month.

However, when I came back to the US after I graduated, I had to switch over to the US version of OO. I then found, like several of you have mentioned, that qualifying was hard and it was very discouraging. I don't use it anymore either because of this reason.

It was very disappointing for me to realize the US version wasn't as good because, as I said, I loved the UK version and was a huge fan of the site.
