A new paid forum
« on: June 28, 2016, 04:13:11 PM »
Whats Good is relatively a new forum, however, it is getting popular. It even has an App on Android market. You can also use the forum through the app. The forum pays the users for creating threads and posting comments. The earning is based on point system and you are paid $% for 100 points.

Have you been rated from that forum yet? I always let the forum blow up and then wait a while because I don't want to be judged unfairly when getting rated. I feel like some of the mods get overwhelmed with all of the new members and then rate unfairly. That could just be me. I will check it out soon!

What is the name of the new forum? If they have an app that would be very convenient for those using mobile devices.

Blair did you ever write for Demand Studios? Your profile pictures looks so familiar! Or did you ever write for Yahoo/AC? Just asking! If so, are you still writing for DS? I haven't been writing for them for over a year, but want to go back.

Do you mean that they're paying through their own site rather than through Postloop? I joined a while ago but haven't been very active because the site seemed to be offline more often that not.

Oh wow. Although I've never been to that site and I've only ever had Postloop and now PFP and Forum Wheel, that site would be a nice addition to my current forum commenting gigs. I do hope, as SillyLucy said, the forum mods are fair when it comes to giving ratings.

Is "Whats Good" the forum you speak of? I am just going by what you wrote there but when I searched Google I was having issues finding it. Please share a link with us for we can give it a look over it sounds interesting.

Although I have joined the forum, I'm not that fond of it as it has too much going on. The owner did have a similar forum on PL before called Rahstyles and this seems like a new version of it. I didn't have a great experience last time because like this one is enables and disables several times a day.

The owner does want people to post when it's offline and will rate accordingly if you do. I did this on the last one and he still gave me a 4, and then removed it and didn't replace it, but it affected my overall rating and I lost a higher bonus. Now, things may have changed, but to me it's not worth it. Don't forget he can still rate on posts you make outside of PL as there is no way to differentiate between them.

Maybe it is a different person. I do not write for Demand Studios or Yahoo/AC but would not mind checking these sites. Right now I am taking a different route when it comes to online work.

I recently heard about this forum because a lot of people seemed excited about it on ForumCoin. I had a quick look at it, but decided it wasn't for me. But based on your firsthand experience, my mind's well and truly made up; I'll sit this one out.  Really sorry to hear about your experience, Alex. -and thanks for sharing.

If the rating was 4 that was not too bad. I do remember rahstyles, it was a good forum, but didn't las for long.

whats good is available for the members of the Forum Wheel, however, you can also work in dependently. The forum pays two points for a post and when you make 500 points you can cash out $5 via paypal. The forum is a general discussion platform, you can talk anything from money, to travel and leisure.

I seem to have 30 points so maybe I should keep posting there when I've got some free time. What information do they need other than what I gave when I registered to use the site through Postloop?

I just did some posting on a PL forum site and noted that while I was posting it was moved down to the inactive section of my subscribed sites, but the posts I made were being recorded. Now that I've read Alex's post here, I realize that I was not being credited the points for my posts, just 1.15 points received for 5 posts. That's not good. I'm only trying to make my first cash out at PL since I've had points sitting there three years now. I don't want anything to do with these paid to post forum sites anymore. Too much typing for a few pennies.

The good thing about PL is that it leads me to some pretty interesting forums such as this one, so every now and again I'll check in there to see what's new.
