I have never tried working for Needle before, but it really looks like a pretty interesting site to work for. I just want to know if they accept international users? I am actually from Asia.

I have applied to Needle but I am not sure if it accepts Canadians. They did let me do the application though. I was pretty excited but never heard back. I really can't do phone work, so chat based would be just right for me.

Needle is chat-based support, not phone. You can make pretty decent money if you work the right hours. They've changed the way they pay their workers a few different times, but there is money to be made. I don't currently work there anymore, but I believe they now pay you a flat rate per chat that comes in, so you're likely to make more money working 'normal business hours' than you'd make working at 2AM.

Any other questions, feel free to ask and I'll answer them if I can.

I'm curious to know why you quit. Was the pay to low? It sounds like an interesting gig, but there must be some downsides. Can you give us a little more information?

Hmm, it sounds as if there are both good and bad reports on Needle. The premise is interesting to me. I have obviously bought plenty of products of various brands, but am not sure exactly how much in depth knowledge is needed for a position of this type. I hope others who do or have worked for the company will post additional details, since it seems several of us might be interested.

I applied for Needle, but never heard anything back. Do they post new tests regularly? I'm wondering if I should go back and check for new product qualifications.

For those who wanted to know, yes Needle is open to international workers. I'm from Botswana and I was eligible to apply. In fact, I don't remember seeing anything about any country not being allowed to join. I think it's something they pride themselves on. If you're waiting to hear back from them, don't hold your breath, they don't seem to be big on communication :(

This sounds interesting, and from reading the comments on this thread, I see there are more negative ones than positive ones. "Work the right hour" is kind of like catch me when you can and it is not for me. My time is vary and I can't play hide and seek to make money.
