Games That Pay?
« on: August 11, 2016, 06:27:00 AM »
Hi guys!  :)

I can't really remember what sites I've seen them but I do remember that there are sites that pay for downloading and playing their games. Some also pay for reviewing their games. I have never tried them out though.

I'm just curious if anyone of you have tried doing this? What sites would pay for international game players or reviewers?

Many different GPT sites have these, but some of them do also contain viruses so I'd recommend using something like Sandboxie or Shadow Defender to protect your machine from anything that might be contained in the downloads.

You can get paid for downloading game (and sometimes other) apps on your smartphone if you have one from InstaGC (and other sites, but InstaGC seems to pay the most from what I've seen). I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're looking for though. But if you go to TrialPay there and look through the apps there you should get something you can do.

There's several other games that you can get paid to play on Facebook too. Get to certain levels and they pay you $2. They can be quite fun sometimes. They can also be time consuming though, but it's handy getting paid to play a game for sure. I'm not sure how international those types of offers are, but I know they're available to countries like US, UK, CA, AUS and I have a friend in Finland that was able to do them.

The same friend was able to use FeaturePoints to download apps and get paid. I'm not sure if it's an app that's available where you are though.

Thank you so much for all your ideas @cocolgooh. :) I will definitely check out all the sites you mentioned. I never knew that Facebook also pays for some games they have so thank you for mentioning that. This is a fun way of earning money although it can take up a lot of time. I'm actually planning on downloading these kinds of games for my boys so they can earn a bit while enjoying playtime on their gadgets. :)

Have you looked into FeaturePoints? You download certain games they list in the app and play them for 2 minutes, and then get a set amount of points for it. Then you can trade the points in for a variety of gift cards/codes or Paypal credit. I usually go for the iTunes and Playstation Network codes, and have cashed out a few of them. It's easy, fun, and sometimes you end up keeping some of the games because you enjoy them! (If you give it a go, try my referral code! :D You are not allowed to view links. Have fun! :D

I am really not crazy about downloading and playing games from all different sources. The last thing I need is a virus on my phone, and it seems like once you have a problem and your OS system starts crashing, it is very difficult to prepare. I don;t think downloading newly developed apps is worth the potential problems for your OS. Just my opinion, but I am leery of it. THe other thing is that I don't have a lot of space on my phone as it is.

I have never gotten into playing games on the phone... or doing much of anything on it, for that matter.  I *have* just recently, though, started to check into some things for my tablet to see if they may bring in a little extra cash so I'm looking forward to that.

Now that said, I am a little overwhelmed with what's available... and I'm not even talking about games to make money either... I am only looking for surveys and the number of places... wow!   Problem is that there's no way to know which are legit without reseaching them all one by one so it's very time consuming, too.

Another big issue is that some of the apps seem to add up points rather quickly while others would take a very long time just to reach an extremely low payout, so whether it's a time waster or not has to be factored in, too... at this point I'm really not sure if I'm going to keep with it or just give the whole app thing up for greener pastures.   :o

I try to stick to apps that are well reviewed and have been around for awhile. I used love playing Perk Pop Quiz but then some kind of glitch developed and it just wasn't fun anymore. It was a good way to pass the time though. I was able to cash out but not for much! It was more for fun than anything else.
