BlogExpose
« on: August 11, 2016, 12:18:05 PM »
I signed up with BlogExpose some time ago. The site is an interface where individuals connect with companies in the area of blogging. I didn't go far with the site because I thought it was a straightforward affair but it required submission of samples and was in a hurry to do something else. BlogExpose has  job board where various companies post their requests for reviews of their products. Bloggers who have signed up bid for the jobs and get paid when they perform them satisfactorily.

I have never heard of BlogExpose until now but I have visited some similar sites before. I never signed up on any of them though because I know the competition is high and the chances of my bid or my articles getting accepted are low especially because of my geographical area. These sites can be good income earners for others who establish themselves on them though. Thank you so much for sharing about this. :)

Thanks for the heads up. I have just come back from a quick visit to the BlogExpose site. Looks pretty solid. The jobs available look pretty good, too. That, of course, are just first impressions. The next thing to do is to sign up and see how quickly I can make some money through their site. I will keep you all updated as I go along.

Thanks for sharing, @remnant :) I'd never heard of the blogging site before. I'm not surprised you chose not to go ahead with the site, I wouldn't have gone very far myself. I just don't like the concept of bidding for jobs, which is part of the reason I'm not so big on freelance sites. I'm sure it'll work for many, just not me :(

I had a quick look and there aren't many jobs advertised, or maybe they are only shown once you sign up? You have to have a gravatar account which I do, but as per normal I am hesitant to have my details publicly available, especially with a username and avatar.

I may set up another gravatar account for this, because while I can why they want to check you out, not everyone wants people to know they are content mill writers.

Maybe that's why they want you to sign up using gravatar. I know that some sites make it such that you have no choice but to sign up with your Facebook account. It's obvious that they want to check you out. I have no problems with that. In fact, I make it a point to subtly sell myself on my Facebook account. I always think this way when I post in Facebook "Do I want my mother to see this?" If I don't then I won't post it.

I can see why they wish to do that in order to check them out via their email address and what they have done, but as gravatar is used across many forum platforms too one should be careful where they use it.

I opt not to wherever I can, not that I have anything to hide, but I value my online privacy. I was forced to use gravatar for my wordpress blogs, but some are dormant now, so aren't relevant.

I have never heard of BlogExpose. I don't know if this is still available. However, I am interested in any opportunities that help me make money online. I am interested in doing reviews and small tasks. I can even work for pennies. As long as they pay and I can manage time, I can work for any thing. I will have to check this site to see whether I can make use of it or not.
