:( Survey Savvy
« on: May 23, 2014, 09:03:42 PM »
I have had absolutely no luck with Survey Savvy. I have been a panelist for over 2 months and I have only received 1 survey. I didn't qualify for it which sucks. I even installed Savvy Connect but that is no help. Has anyone received survey invites?

Surverysavvy.com might not be legitimate.. But anyway if you receive only one survey invitation in 2 months, kick it to the curb. There are heaps of survey sites that want you to participate in a lot of surveys and pay you fairly but maybe read reviews before deciding to sign up.

Could you clarify what you mean by it "might not be legitimate?"   Because I've been with them a long time and have never had trouble getting a payment or anything... so just wondering what factors formed your opinion.

That said, I'm pulling away from most of my survey places and going more toward places that don't take so long to build up to a payout... but most are legit and just take a long time to reach payout.

OP, I get pretty many survey invites from SurveySavvy but end up ignoring most of them. Maybe they don't have many for your particular demographic profile?  I know I've had that problem with some of the survey places.

A lot of survey sites might not get back to you often. Try signing up to a lot of survey sites, more than just this one.

I always had this 'strange gut feeling' that Survey Savvy doesn't work, so i push it to the corner with all the other surveys that i ever tried out and never worked out for me :(

I've heard this site was legit, but I am having trouble qualifying for any surveys! I filled out my demographics and everything and I keep wasting my time, because I never qualify. :(

I have had an account with survey savvy for a couple years. Though I do believe it is legit, it has not been worth it for me. Like you said, I rarely get survey invitations and when I do I usually don't qualify after wasting five minutes answering the qualifying questions. For me, it's not worth my time.

I have had a bad experience with them. They send you surveys once at month at the most, and once you're done filling it out, they don't even reward you. It's lame. It's a waste of time, trust me.
If you still want to try it out, you can but don't repent.

I tried them a few years ago and had the same experience, hardly any invites, and the few I got I did not qualify, so I just dropped them.  It may be a legit site in the sense that they do pay those who actually qualify and complete the surveys, but they are one of the many, many sites out there where qualifying is extremely hard and more time is wasted in the attempt than anything else.

Survey Savvy is a good survey site when they actually send surveys. They pay around $0.50-$10 for each survey that you take and the minimum cashout threshold is set at just $1, which sounds very appealing. They also pay you for referring others to their website.

The unfortunate thing is that surveys are invitational only and you have to wait till they send you surveys, which isn't often enough. A lot of times you have to go through your junk folder to find them. I cashed out from Survey Savvy about two times in the past year. They take awhile before they process and prepare your check and finally mail it to you, but it definitely arrives, so no worries there.

I am actually a member of this site for years but have not received the minimum payout yet. Simply because I received very few surveys from the site and that was mainly because I am a non US member.
I am not using the site anymore cause I do not want to waste more time and effort answering a single survey that I will not be able to cash out the payment.

The minimum payout now is only $1, but I find it rather ridiculous that they ONLY pay out via check and that is going to take four to six weeks before they even process it. In this day and age they might have a whole lot more participants if they added additional payment methods like PayPal.

I too was registered with Survey Savvy, but threw the towel in when I received no surveys and each time I logged in there'd be nothing for my area. I really liked the look of the site too, and read a few reviews about its legitimacy. I just concluded that I probably don't fit the right demographic profile and my geographic location doesn't help because I signed up with about six other survey sites and it was the same thing.

This may very well be the beginning of the end of survey sites, because the universal  opinion seems to be that they treat people shoddily and don't even pay much. I know I've scrapped them and won't be registering with any more ever again. I foresee this happening with a lot more people.
