Beware of fronts
« on: September 08, 2016, 02:50:27 PM »
Most sites that scam their members inevitably go underground. But one has to be cautious because while some do right things and duly compensate their members and then come up with a new earning model, most resurface using fronts and alibis which are not easy to detect. They are vague on the physical address. Others create sister sites. The former happened with Probux. The owner was the personality behind Onbux another scam site that went under.

Scam PTC websites are known to create various websites as fronts.  There is a network of PTC sites owned by one Radu Toma, and he is  known to scam members by creating a new website whenever the old one fails to pay its members.  Fortunately, there are PTC watchdog websites which examine whether a certain site is legitimate or scam.  Other than PTC sites, one website which I know which has scammed various members is JustBeenPaid/ProfitClicking, which was run by a certain "Frederick Mann."  From what I can remember, JBP introduced the "JSS-Tripler" system and later on it was acquired later by ProfitClicking, and thus "Frederick Mann" retired.
