There was an expected avalanche of migrations of posters to TFW as Postloop is on its denouement. Same case applies to forums though to a much lesser extent. To check against  oversubscription, most sites appear to  set higher ratings than was the case when view were at  Postloop. Anyone who has observed this phenomenon?

That is a little disheartening.  I have postponed my joining of the site yet, and I am not really sure why.  I am a little interested though to see what it has to offer, and it looks a little promising, but I am still a little weary about it.

I kind of took as me just not able to join due to having no rating yet. The one forum I did participate on ended up leaving TFW and did not bother to give me a rating of some sort so I am stuck with my starting one. I am going to have to join one of the 2 sites I can currently join to try and get a rating at least though otherwise I won't be able to use TFW at all. Now that I am seeing this thread I am noticing most of the forums have a high rating needed in order to join.

I have noticed that point. The rating matter is a problem at both sites. It is necessary to have high rating to subscribe all the forums. On the other hand in postloop high ratings are necessary to get paid. Getting paid through rating is really a pain.

The sites that were available to me now has shut their doors because they set higher rating. This happened when Postloop shut down and the forums and members migrated to the forum wheel. Now, when postloop is back again, the higher rating has not been lowered in the forum wheel yet. There are forums on my niche, but I cannot comment because of rating.

There only seem to be a couple of forums I can;t access on the forum wheel due to my rating, but I don't really like TFW that much because such limited posting is allowed on the forums. It is very inconvenient to have to sign up for a dozen forums each allowing one or two posts which you would have to do to make money quickly. I am only on a few forums there, and it takes a long time to make payout compared to PL.

If you've registered previously for a forum, you won't be affected if they decide to increase their rating anytime. Ken implemented this feature a few months back. So while you can see a padlock on the Forum tab, you can see that the site is available to you on the Subscriptions tab. There's hardly any forum up these days and most sites shown on the Forum have high rating requirement so I've been left with only 4 forums to post on.

The Forum Wheel seems nice, I've just registered and waiting to be reviewed. I hope I get a high rating.

It's back to what it was a year ago. There are only two sites to post on and I'm not likely to sign up for another one as I'm not too happy about one forum owner's terms and I don't want to risk my rating. It's best to just keep checking because some sites that go on and off can pop up and go unlimited for a day. The good thing is, if you've been doing forum posting for a while, you'll encounter the same posters all over.
