When I was new to working online, I was enamoured by the accumulation of cash in the various sites which I signed up with and the first withdrawal was at $30. But with time, I learnt of dangers like being banned, ratings and the danger of scams perpetrated by hackers who steal identity in order to siphon funds. For this reason, I am wary. I don't keep my money in Paypal but withdraw when I reach a certain amount though I have and to put my trust in there.

I withdraw money on the earning sites where I am active as soon as I reach cashout threshold. There is so many risks associated with letting funds accumulate, for example you could be banned, the site may stop functioning, or your rating could be lowered. Usually I join sites that have low payment threshold. If the payment threshold is higher than $10 I don't join any sites. However, I let money accumulate in my paypal account. I use paypal funds to buy online.

My answer is not related to forum posting sites, but rather to all/any online sites where money accumulates for work done.  My answer is that no, I never let my pay accumulate because there are simply too many risks involved.  I generally cash out as soon as I'm able.

That said, there's one site that I've been getting complacent about and letting it go until $20 or $30 even though I could cash out at any time. I really shouldn't do that just because a site has been reliable and I'm going to start cashing out at $10 there.

I learned this lesson two days ago again... I lost some money, *but* it wasn't because I didn't cash out in time.  I didn't have enough to cash out until the weekend.  I went in to get my money and the link wasn't there for the amount I was authorized to cash out for.  A little scary, but I waited a day and tried again.  Same story.  I tried one more time thinking the site had issues, and that third time it wouldn't let me log in at all. I have attempted to contact them and nothing... no response.  No additional way to contact them.

Anyhow, what I learned is that *no* Internet site that pays out for work done is 100% secure.  They can, and often do just disappear virtually overnight.
