The surveys that do pay
« on: May 27, 2014, 04:21:57 AM »
We are all tired of surveys because we know that most of them don't pay, but there are some who do pay and they even call us to some interviews in person from time-to-time. To find these I would advise to look online for companies doing market studies and sign up, they will call you soon enough. ;)

I honestly gave up on surveys. The kind of information they want for a lot of them is very invasive, they're difficult to qualify for, and a lot of them pay very poorly for the time it takes to complete them. If I can find a reliable place to go though I might give them another chance so thanks for the tip!

Could you drop some names to help with the cause? They may pay, but is it really worth someone's time to do it? Can a person average 10 dollars an hour for example?

The only surveys that I have found to actually work are on Mechanical Turk. They pay pretty decent and if you are a fast reader, they can average a pretty decent amount.

I gave up on the survey sites years back. I realized that most of these surveys are country specific and being a Non US guy, I dont have too many choices. Sad that despite we all use almost the same brands and stuff, many of us not from a specific region are not allowed to participate on a majority of the sites - and the ones we are allowed to are mostly scams.

Doing surverys for 10 dollars an hour? No way my friend, I wish! I work for two Portuguese survey sites, one of them is Netsonda and the other is Mundo de Opiniões. To get the 25€ from the first one it took me over a year, so you see, it's not much, but it's sweet when it comes.

I have long since given up on doing the surveys as well.  I get frustrated when I spend 20 minutes to do a survey, only for the server to time out, or a message pops up on the screen that tells me I am not the right person for the particular survey.  I have yet to actually get paid for completing one.  The panel requests are also very frustrating because you have to go through a whole interview process, only to get rejected at the end.

Mturk has surveys that pay. You need to try to figure out what your time is worth though as you chase surveys and if you're someone who is willing to accept points with another site versus actual money.

There are some good sites mentioned on this site. Pinecone is probably the one with the longest and best reputation.

I really don't like a lot of survey sites because they seem to be a lot of work for very little reward. However, there are a couple of them that I do use on a regular basis and from which I've been paid one or more times.

The survey sites that I do regularly use are Mintvine, Paidviewpoint and Tellwut. With these sites I almost always qualify and therefore don't feel like they are a waste of my time.

I do the surveys on swagbucks to break up my day. I have a pretty flexible job so if I get a little bored or need a break from what I am doing I take a few surveys. You won't become a millionaire and it is definitely frustrating to spend more than five minutes only to be disqualified, but swagbucks does pay and the extra money every month is a nice surprise. I do not see how you could make $10/hour, but if anyone has any suggestions please put them out there. The most I have ever made in a day is $5.

I get bored with he questions and they drag on for far too long. I would rather do other things then surveys for sure.

I don't really deal with survey sites too much anymore. The surveys are way harder than what they should be and you can be disqualified for any little thing.

The only ones I have found to somewhat work for me are the ones on Quick Rewards
Other than that I don't bother.

GlobalTestMarket is one survey site that is legit and really pays. Like most surveys, however, their mail questionnaire does not come to my mail box often, so i don't pin my hopes too much on surveys.

I have given up on surveys.  I have signed up with several different survey companies.  I log in and start to do a survey.  Halfway through the survey they tell me that I don't qualify for that survey.  This means that not only do I not get paid, I have just wasted a lot of time.

I think that most people feel like you Angelic, but sometimes it's a matter of doing the maths, how much per hour are we earning working for another sites? Some surveys are really not that poorly paid.
