Is Fiverr Still An Option?
« on: May 09, 2017, 09:29:18 AM »
I heard so much about Fiverr a few years ago, but now recently when I decided to check if they're still there (they are)  I've been hearing a lot more negative.  That includes things like people saying spammers/scammers (sorry, not sure which!)  have all but taken over the site.  If you have worked from there, have you found that to be true, or is this still a legit way to bring in some extra cash?

I have a buyer and seller account on fiverr. I have never sold any gigs on fiverr, however, I still consider that fiverr is a good platform for writers, graphic designers, web developers and online marketers. If you are just starting out, it is really hard to sell your first gig, however, once you sell a gig and get a good review, you will be able to sell more gigs.

Ah yes, that makes sense that someone would need to have some kind of a reputation there before some decent work starts coming in.  I suppose I should check it out a little more.  I have many years experience with what I want to do, but buyers wouldn't know that and probably all they'd see is that I don't have any experience or ratings *there.*    :'(

I suspect that I just didn't find the right area of the site to see exactly what it is I can check about doing.

Anyhow, thank you for the reply, VinayaSpeaks... I appreciate it.
