[/quote]Swagbucks is okay but it can get a little boring. There is a lot of stuff to do, but at the same time it's like there's nothing to do. If you want to have fun and make a few dollars while doing it, then go ahead. It's too tedious for me, personally. :(

Oh ok. Well thank you for that input. I definitely don't want to waste my time with something that seems too much like a chore.  :-X

Well it's not really a chore, haha. There's fun stuff to do, like watch videos, play games, and listen to music. But there's nothing that really stands out as entertaining. Anyway, hope I helped haha.

Most online jobs for teens are really low paid and not worth it. From my own experience, I would go for writing or mTurk. If you have interests in teaching yourself HTML, CSS and other computer languages, you can try to set something up for yourself. Also, you can try to find jobs where you help to host and edit a webpage (usually WordPress).

There are a few sites that teens can use to make extra money online. Postloop.com, bubblews.com, fiverr.com and there are also some survey sites that you could try. None of these sites will get you rich, but you can get a nice chunk of change from them!

If you are a college going teen, I would suggest get a job at InstaEdu if you are bright enough to tutor others. The pay is amazing with $20 per hour.

If you are not, I would suggest sites like mTurk from Amazon.

Foodietr has a really good point. The InstaEdu tutoring is really legit, and it pays well. The only thing is you have to be doing good at school. It's no rule, but you've got to tutor people who have legit and hard problems.
The biggest demand is in technical subjects, like advanced Physics/Chemistry/Math etc.
I don't say there are no other subjects which you can tutor in, but the earlier mentioned once have the most people with questions (higher pay/bigger guarantee you'll be hired as tutor).

I noticed that teens can earn on Fiverr as long as they offer any kind of service, because I saw someone who's only 17 and offering some writing gigs, so you might want to try that site out if you are good at something.

Fiverr is great for teens, because they can "create" their own job and do what they are better at. With a little originality, young people can make a good amount of money on it.

Yeah I agree, there are actually gigs that I think are quite "senseless" if you know what I mean, like pasting body parts on someone's face, and surprisingly, that gig has some reviews already. Oh well, to each his own. As for me, I will never purchase such gigs.

My three main websites for making extra money online are as follows.

1. Opinion Outpost - Survey website. The best and most convenient one I have found.
2. SliceThePie - They pay you to review music. You listen to a minute and half of a tune then write what you feel is good and bad about it.
3. Postloop - Get paid to post on forums.

There are many others out there but these are the three sites I can vouch for.  ;D

Forum writing like Postloop and slicethepie is the next big thing that allows teens to work online to make some extra pocket money. Slicethepie is fro 13 and up and is fairly easy work...and good for teens who like to write and loves music.

SliceThePie is a great website for teens to make money on. It's a music reviewing site. You listen to music that hasn't been officially released yet, then you write a short review stating your opinion of the song. You get paid about 5 to 10 cents per song but you can work anytime you want, and realistically earn about 2 to 3 dollars a day.

I can agree that slicethepie and postloop are both very awesome sites to make a little extra money online. I would say you can reasonably make about $15 a day combined with those sites. Plus you wouln't have to work for all that long to accumulate that amount.

I don't think a student or a teen can make up to $15 per day on Postloop considering they have school and work, because to make $15 it takes many hours. I think that 5-10$ maybe, but still quite a few hours.

My son writes on Bubblews and he is only 13, but this is a little business for him. I make sure he gives some great content or recipes, as it is pointless unless you can earn passively in the long run.

I reckon, article writing is the best way for teens to earn. They can't do any professional services or any gigs,as it is stated. They can take to google adsense and monetize their videos, but yeah they will have to take the cheque in their parents name.It is actually good for a starter. They could try some captcha solving and micro works,if they have any interest for them.
