In over a year and a half, I've made $4,368.16 on mTurk! I love it. I could have even been more proficient, but I take a lot of time 'off' from HITs.

I've read in numerous places that people claim to average about $10-$12/hour with Amazon. Is this realistic? I can understand it taking a bit of time to work up to that much and that your work has to be very high quality but after a month or so of consistent high quality work is the aforementioned hourly figure possible?

If you do the right jobs, you can certainly make this kind of money. I made $15 in one hour last week with Mturk. The best way to do it is to choose what amount per hit you desire and do the work. The is always between 100,000-300,000 hits available daily.

Interesting!  What kind of work do you do with MTurk to make that kind of money?  I have worked for them before, but didn't make too much so I moved on.  I would love to hear what kind of work you ended up doing, and if you have any tips or advice!

Thanks in advance!

Whenever I read discussions about people working from home, I always get rather excited, as it makes me think that there's a chance that I will be able to earn a lot of money from something - but that usually isn't the case when it comes down to it. I have never found that I was able to earn very much at all from Amazon. Of course, I tried, but I just found that the hours spent doing the work weren't actually worth the money that I was getting, and I decided that I would be much better off spending my time doing other things instead, which is what I now do. I would love to hear about it if you have any tips regarding making more money, because I love Amazon as a company and would very much like to work with them again at some point!

I have not made much from Mturk but my earning is now over $50. I try to log in as much as I can because I like shopping at Amazon.
Why I like Mturk is because you can all ways find something to do on there and make a few dollars. One day I am going to try to work
on turk all day to see how much money I could earn. I would like to see my earning go up to a few hundreds. I think if anybody is
looking to do some work online, turk would be a good start. I think turk could be good for an online resume that if other online jobs need it.

I've never earned anything as an affiliate on Amazon, but I earned a couple thousand by selling my own possessions on Amazon. As for Mechanical Turk, I've made over $4,000 in the last four years, and I make far more than $4.00 over the course of five hours. I rarely hit minimum wage earnings, but I can still manage $6.00 to $7.00 per hour on the site through very specific HITs from the same requester. I'd reveal said requester, but things are already getting pretty crowded there with less and less work available no compared to months ago.

My earnings from Amazon are inching closer and closer to my Adsense earnings. The affiliate sites I set up earlier this year are doing really well. I'm hoping that come Christmas time, my earnings will explode! But I don't want to get ahead of myself. Will be building more sites to increase sales and reach higher commission rates.

I have visited this site before and not sure if I created an account in there.
I have not really use the site cause I think it will be not worth it because I saw less jobs on not so good pay rates before. I will visit the site again later and see if it will be worth my time now.
Those who earned a lot from the site are from US or from international countries?

I would say that now people are catching wind to the fact that selling physical products on Amazon is the better way to go. As far as being an affiliate it can be lucrative if you have a ton of traffic. Amazon sells the physical products for you if you sign up to be there monthly vendor program. They will put your product up front. I made $49 with their affiliate program in one month during the holiday season from a small little site. I made $13 in one week by selling products on their physical side. Think about necessities that everyone needs, or maybe a certain profession of people need.
Then check out Alibaba.....send that stuff to amazon to sell

Mturk is not for all. There are some other crowdsourcing sites, but usually they are specific to a certain goal, like for example ChaCha  This is a mobile question answering service which uses a technique known as the Human search engine.
So that is an alternative, but for workers, not for requesters

You can make more than $5 in 4 hours by using the subreddit called HitsWorthTurkingFor. Also, if you're willing to audioscribe you can make much more, but it's tougher than most jobs.

The possibility to earn a decent wage with mturk is there. I have been with mturk for several years now and yes, in the beginning, I did not earn much at all. Most of the higher earnings you are hearing about on the internet are from workers who have earned Masters qualification. I now do have Masters, but it took me over a year and a half to get there. Master's opens up better higher paying hits. I work mturk daily and it varies from day to day for me and always has even with Masters. On most days, I work an 8 hour shift and usually make between $40 to $60. It's not much, but it helps me support my family and most earnings credit pretty quick.  If you enjoy transcription or website testing you can earn more. I usually stick to Surveys and batch hits. HTH and GL to you!

I think the OP was referring to Amazon's Affiliate program, not the MTurk website...
...

This was my impression too, that the main idea was with Amazon affiliated account and not MTurk. It is nice to read through everyone story with it though, and it sure gives hopes that there is another site to make money from if we put effort in to it.

When you say send that stuff to Amazon to sell, do you mean buy it from Alibaba and list it on Amazon, or list it on Amazon, then when someone makes a purchase, you purchase it and ship it to that person? If that's the case, what happens if it takes a while, and the item is out of stock on Alibaba by the time they purchase it, just rescind the sale and refund their money?

Wow, kudos to you on that! I wouldn't turn my nose up at that figure at all. It's really impressive, especially considering that you're not on there all the time. Just what exactly do you do on there to amass so much?! I just read on here that someone has made $4 000 in 4 years there. It seems like a huge disparity. IDK maybe if I worked there it would more sense.

Nothing, I make nearly all of my money on writing content. I'm from Poland, and sadly, there's not a lot of tasks for people from my country. :(
