BlogMutt
« on: July 02, 2014, 10:12:38 AM »
Just wanted to let you all know, that I've been writing for a site called Blogmutt for over a year now.  It is actually a great site to write for.  It takes a little bit to get used to how their system works.  But once you get the hang of it, it is easy.  They pay weekly for all articles approved.  There is a 90% approval rate too and if any of your articles get rejected, you can recycle them and use them for other clients.  Pays $8 per article.

I have had a look at BlogMutt and I agree that it looks to be a good opportunity for writers. You can only join if you live in the USA. I live in the UK so I'm unable to join the site.

Thanks for posting about this. How do they pay? and how long would it take to really start off?

I also have checked out that site but I wasn't able to join because they only accept members from the US. But I'm sure you have to have a decent blog to be able to qualify for that right? So that doubles your work, in my opinion.

They pay $8 per article and pay weekly.  There is lots of work, so shouldn't take long to start off if you are a good writer.

I wrote Blogmutt down on paper so I'm really thinking about joining and seeing how I like it. In fact I may sign up later today after hearing all of the positive feedback.

This sounds like an interesting opportunity.  I will check out this website.  I have wanted to get back to blogging so this might be the perfect way to do it.

I applied there a long time ago and forgot. Then about 2 weeks ago I got an email saying they didn't have enough information would I update my application. I updated my application and haven't heard anything back from them. I guess they have a lot of applicants or something. I was looking forward to writing there for a while but now I'm not so sure about them.

Does it pay out via Paypal or something else? It sounds interesting, I might have to check it out. :) Thanks for the tip!

What kind of articles do they want and how long? $8 sounds like excellent pay, but how much work to do you have to put into these articles.  I am not sure if I can write on the professional level, should I bother trying if I am at a rather amateur level?

Content Writing is an art form so it's just a case of learning how to do it. If you are willing to do some work for a lower wage while you learn, you could try starting out with sites like iwriter.

I applied at Blogmutt a couple of weeks ago. I received an email that I did not pass the writing test. It was the part about writing a sentence using set and lie.

Can anyone offer any tips/suggestions on what I may have done wrong?

What is set and lie?  I was really good at grammar in school but I don't remember ever hearing these terms before.
